I am wondering, why are PM's separated by the author's location? I may be in the CCM magazine forum, and I've seen in an email notification I've got a PM from someone. It's not enough to login to the forum I initiated my membership in. I have to Salem One-Pass into another forum in order to be able to see that PM.

While I'm there, I can post something and view things just as they are in another forum... but not for private messages.

It'd be nice to say please send stuff to me at this forum.
And as always, an awesome job moderatin' the boards, ye mods.

When you get the email notification, why don't you just click the INBOX from whatever portal you normally log in from, it will be there. You don't have to use the link in the email.

I get notifications when a new thread is started in different folders, and the email notice always gives a Crosswalk link. But I just stay in FCN and just go to the folder, or my inbox, and get the PM or view the thread. I just use the email notice alert me to a new thread.

Log into Forums and click on Inbox. Your PMs will be there regardless of what portal the sender was logged into.

Thanks! That's what was happening. My old email handler would give me a pop-up notice, I'd go to my email inbox, click on the provided link, and then find it was for a different forum.

Prompt service! Wish I could get an ice water refill as fast at the restaurant.
