Satan's goal is quite clear, to be worshipped as God, not a god, but the God. His motivations are spelled out quite clearly in Isaiah 14,

"How are thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, who did weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High'." Is. 14: 2-4

In case you hadn't noticed, the exact same motivation Lucifer exhibits, wanting to "be like the most high", is exhibited by the "man of sin, the son of perdition"

"Who oppose and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." 2Thes. 2: 4


When Lucifer says in his heart that he will sit also upon the "mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north" he is referring to the Holy Mount situated in the midst of Jerusalem, upon which the Solomon's and Herod's Temple sat, and upon which the Al Aqsa mosque and the Dome of the Rock currently sits. This bit of geography is revealed in Psalm 48,

"Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King." Psalm 48: 2.

Hence, Lucifer/Satan/anti-Christ will attempt to rule from Jerusalem, masquerading as the messiah, the mashiac ben David, the lion of Judah, (who in reality is Jesus Christ, though he still is not received by his own people, the Jews). In order to do so, Satan will have to possess a candidate with the necessary pedigree, that of son of David, otherwise he would not be received by the Israelis, much less the rest of the world. Naturally the geneology will be false, but still believable for those who want to believe. That Satan could possess such a candidate is easily provable in accordance with Scripture, from the general demonic possessions in the New Testament you have already mentioned, to the more specific possession of Judas Iscariot, as both Luke and John attest to.

"Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve." Luke 22: 3

"And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, 'What thou do, do quickly'." John 13: 27

Of course the concept of possession is quite foreign to the modern "enlightened" mindset, despite the resurgence of channeling and spiritism, not to mention the other occult practices that have "come out of the closet", so to speak. Paganism and witchcraft are alive and well in the world, and their headquarters seem to be in Great Britain, witness Harry Potter, the Lord of the Rings, and the Cronicles of Narnia, and a veritable host of other contemporary mythologies by British authors, not to mention Madam Blavatsky's Theosophical society and the Society for Psychical Research, both of which originated in London. Now there are literally thousands of people practicing mystical rituals, initiation rites, incantations and spells around the world, thus laying the groundwork for an open acceptance of the occult, over which the anti-Christ will be the untold master, understanding dark sentences as he does.

"And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand." Daniel 8: 23-25

Your only error is believing satan will only deceive one person.

Note the word 'congregation' not one man.

Where is scripture that says this?

No argument about satan entering people.

Antichrist is a spirit. It can enter many people.

Stop looking for someone to be the scapegoat.

A stern-faced king, a master of intrigue (Daniel 8:23-25);
The prince who shall come (Daniel 9:26);

The Assyrian (Isaiah 10:24);
The destroyer, the oppressor, the aggressor (Isaiah 16:4);
The worthless shepherd (Zechariah 11:16-17);
The one who comes in his own name (John 5:43);
The man of lawlessness (2 Thessalonians 2:3);
The man doomed to destruction (2 Thessalonians 2:3);
The man of lawlessness, lawless one (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, 8-10);

Hi, I had registered some time ago, but forgot all about this site. I was reminded of it when I ran across this thread while searching Google on this very subject. I don't usually like to name names when it comes to Antichrist. I believe the "666" is for confirming, not determining.

Dear Vicjr,

Thank you for sharing. Incidentally he no longer is destined to be come the "Defender of the Faith", as the titular head of the Church of England. In 1994 he publically stated that when he becomes king he will change the title to "Defender of Faiths", thus effectively romoving Christianity's unique status as "the Faith", to one of many "Faiths". Although this in itself is not enough to confirm his status as "the" anti-Christ, it certainly furthers his status as "an" anti-Christ. I can think of no true Christian who would ever put any other religion on the same par with Christianity. To do so would be to deny the very essence of Christianity, namely the singularity of Jesus Christ, being God in the flesh, and the efficacy of His sacrifice on the cross for our sins. As Paul stated so well:

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that you have received, let him be accursed." Cal. 1: 8-9

I had never heard of such things regarding Prince Charles and I am British.

Part of what amazes me is that the links are to sites that use “numerology” and the writing of Nostradamus????? Christians using these to back up their arguments????[>:]

Also, Charles doesn’t have influence over Politics. Charles’s feel good statements are ridiculed over here.

There are people pushing for Britain to become a Republic.

Already we have stripped the Royal Families spending down to only those who are the immediate family. Soon people are looking to strip them of any taxpayer’s money completely. Charles is seen as unlikely to get the throne and William has hinted towards not being interested to take up being King anyway. Soon they will be like other Royal families in Europe who are nothing but figureheads

I read every one of your posts AND the links. People appear to be working TOO hard to get Charles to fit the Anti-Christ mould.

My opinion, but there you go.

And an opinion that I very much agree with. Especially your statement concerning Notradamus etc. Very well said. It just shows how ridiculous it all is.

I see no reason whatsoever to believe that Prince Charles is the anti-christ and think the allegation is ridiculous at best. Whose next? Oprah? Ooh, I know, it's going to be Jon Stewart of the Daily Show because of all the things he says about Christians.

Come on now. We are to be on the watch, but we are not supposed to point fingers at everyone who passes under our noses. Remember Salem?

Javier Solana the High Representative of the EU, Bush, or some head of the muslim's or the Pope could be but we are just discussing who it might be, I didn't only get my links from them sources, a lot of them are from news stations and newspaper clippings. I have lots of evidance that Solana could be and even Tony Blair, but I tell you something these are all the people that is shaping our world now in these end times and it is interesting to see what is unfolding before our eyes and it is just discussion between people who find this stuff interesting, I didn't start this thread to offend anyone just for discussion and if some of you find this silly or repulsive please feel free to visit another thread. All I can say is that instead of looking for the anti-christ in every single political person you don't agree with, I think it would be wiser to focus on Jesus Christ alone. The anti-christ will be revealed when the time comes. Trying to firgure it out ahead of time is a waste of time. Instead focus on the gospel and our Lord. We are to watch and discern the times, don't get me wrong, but we aren't to focus so intently on that, and on slandering every person that is a political head, that we miss the opportunity to be the witnesses and servants that Jesus wants us to be.

yes thank you for your concerns I appreciate you voicing your concerns, I have always been interested in prophecy and what the Lord has put in all of his book to keep us abreast of what will happen in his end times and for comfort and guidance, I think if he didn't think it wasn't important for us to know he would of left revelation, daniel, other prophecy books out of the bible.

Very true, He wouldn't have given us those books if He didn't want us to know. But how many a/c's has the world gone through, and still he isn't here? By saying so about all these people, we are acting like those who torched the women of Salem hundreds of years ago. We just don't have our torches and pitchforks out yet. [;)]

Anyways, I hope I didn't offend you by what I said. That isn't my intention. I still hold that the best idea is to focus on the coming of our Lord, and the work that He has set for us to do until He comes. Everything else is an exercise in futility.

no I don't think I am a torch lighter, just keeping abreast and willing to learn and listen and digest others take on prophecy, I don't plan on any smear campaigns on any of these canidates just leaving the post open for anyone who has interesting information and it's fun to check out the sources that they find and you do learn more of what is happening all over the world by looking at the various leaders and what they are involved in. So please don't think we are on a witch hunt only looking for the wisdom the Lord was talking about in Rev about not being deceived and to be wise to the times we are living in. Thanks

November 1 - When Evil is Called Good

So Prince Charles will come to America to tell us that we don't understand Islam and we don't even try. You talk about a man who has been out of touch with reality for decades in his own personal life and now is going to lecture the White House on the "religion of peace." He says only a few bad apples are causing the problem, but then why don't the many "good apples" demonstrate like crazy about their violent brothers? Instead, their silence is deafening.
Let's consider just a few items America has done to benefit Islam in this great country. We have had three, yes three Ramadan celebrations in 2005 sponsored by the White House or State Department. We now have a Koran sitting in the White House library. We are so mired in political correctness that the airlines can profile only two Middle East males per flight. If the third one has a bomb or weapon, well, that's too bad for all on board. The Middle Easterners are given the first consideration.

At the recent Ramadan gatherings in Washington, those sponsoring the events, including the president, suggested that Allah and Jehovah is the same God. It was said that Allah received a direct revelation from God in founding Islam. Which God or god? Whether this is political correctness or delusion is hard to say without quizzing those making such statements.

America continually bows to CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations. In some aspects of American society--particularly the media--they seem to be in control. And while we have kicked out some Islamic fundraising groups, others are allowed to stay here and raise funds for jihad.

These things are the tip of the ice berg. As Paul Sperry said on my radio show last March 19, 2005 (posted to "radio archives") and based on his book: "Infiltration: How Muslims and Other Subversives are Penetrating America," their goal is Sharia (Islamic) Law in America and to occupy some of the highest offices in the land.

Would someone tell the Prince of Wales that Islam recently beheaded three innocent school children in Indonesia because they were Christians? Islam is committed to the destruction of Israel and most all Islamic nations cheered when Iran recently suggested a second Holocaust for the Jews. The don't seem to bat an eye at blowing up innocent people all over the world including Prince Charles' neck of the woods, London. They promise naive young Muslims "paradise" for doing so. Almost everywhere, including America, the media give them a pass, many just calling them "freedom fighters." Much of the Islamic world danced in the streets when our Twin Towers fell on 9/11. This is civilized society that needs a break?

To be frank, Prince Charles is defending a militant death cult religion who hopes to bring the entire world under Allah's submission.

Totally agree,especially regarding the numerology and Nostradamus stuff. And it's been since,what,the time of Queen Victoria,that the Royal family had any real influence in even domestic politics? Isn't the Queen bound to kind of "rubber stamp" any legislation requiring her token "approval"? She has to even accept the choice of Prime Minister from the governing party-even in Queen Victoria's time,that was so,and the Throne hasn't gained in political power since her day,it's lost power.
