Hey islanders!

Sorry Terri, wasn't on too much last night. But it was a good night. lol You?

Hello Cammo dear. Sleep much?

Thanks for the peach tea Becky! How are ya? I need to get on your thread more often.

duuuuude! Save some for US! lol

Hi Mike! Tired today huh? How about a nice nap and then a good stroll somewhere. Get some fresh air. Air is good for you. lol Have you been working hard? Any more trips planned?

(((Deb))) I realized that the only name changing I had to do was for my SS card. Other than that, it's automatic with the marriage certificate. I had the option of leaving my application and certificate in a drop box so I didn't wait in line. They return your certificate within a week. And just one step at the bank...closing an account. We can finally begin to organize our finances properly.

Sarah and I plan to go have afternoon tea to check out a competition. lol Oh and to relax and enjoy ourselves as well. Ha.

I hate to post and run but I start work in a few hours and we are stopping by the cell phone place to sign up for the family plan. Have a great Saturday everyone! By the time I get back here, MOST of you will be sleeping.

I had a good evening Trish. Tea sounds nice. I wonder if there are any tea rooms around here?

John, not much happening around here. Most of the town is out of gas, so there isn't much to do but stay home. I'll be putting away laundry a bit. Plan on reading a book i've been trying to read for a few weeks now. I've been a little distracted...lol

Hi Trish, I have been napping off and on all day so far. No trips planned at the moment, I need to pay for all the ones that I have already taken so far.

Hum, interesting. I tried to change my SS card first and they said 'No, you have to go to the DMV and change your driver's license first." So I did that and then went back to the SS place. We combined bank accounts in April (got married 12/31).

Actually, I have been sleeping quite well. I sleep quite well when I'm happy, and I've been pretty happy of late, as you can guess.

The time gap is also much more friendly to me here than it is there, that's why I'm continually trying to encourage her to get sleep in something resembling a normal pattern... Especially with her looking for work and all.

Same here. (Well, I have a State ID since I can't drive, but that's splitting hairs.) Actually, I knew to go to the Registry of Motor Vehicles to get the State ID first. We opened a joint bank account five weeks after the wedding.
