Wayfaring_Stranger -> RE: What, exactly, is "Subscribing"? (4/26/2005 8:25:10 AM)

If there are threads that you want to keep up with, keep reading new posts in, if you subscribe to them it keeps them all in one place so you can keep up with them instead of trying to find them each time. I just discovered something neat about this. I had been greatly disappointed in how the subscriptions worked, because when I clicked on "My Subscriptions," there was only a list of the posts I'd subscribed to and no way to get to the newest post in them. I could click on them and go to the thread, but then would have to click another time or two to get to the newest stuff. So I had pretty much stopped subscribing to them because it seemed worthless. BUT -- I checked "My forums" just to see what it did -- I haven't suscribed to any forums because there isn't one I want to see all the new posts of -- and there was a list of my subscribed threads with the little green arrow to click on that takes me to the newest post. YEA! Moderators, forgive me if you have mentioned this before and I miessed it -- learning the new boards entails taking in a lot of info. that takes a while to process. If this is something new, THANKS!!
