let me whine again, tired of words that hurt just because someone thinks s/he has the correct opinions on everything...that what s/he believes about everything is Gospel truth... sometimes I just want to say and all and be real with it all, but that might hurt too much... AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Sometimes I just want to scream

Popsi: You are not alone on this one. I get a little tired of people who always think that they are right about everything. None of us but God has the right to claim that. It really irks me the way some people say things. We must also remember that we are all susceptible to pride at any time. That is what this attitude of "always being right " is. It's pride. It is not the same when we are standing on the Word of God however. God's word is RIGHT and standing on it is the SAFEST PLACE TO BE in a world full of relativism. 2Preacher

Whine... I went to church clean up and and and and... they did not have anything for me to clean up! I almost would say that the guy in charge of the clean up looked at me and the kids and thought OH NO-But then I supervised the boys as they spread and groomed pine straw mulch along the one side of the church then swept the remaining straw off the sidewalk(that was work ). I am Uhhhh we shall say Mmmmm a bit of a Type A personality when it comes to that kinda stuff. Example- I told Jeromy age 12 that his edging looked like a roller coaster instead of a line. Yeah Pine straw... Mmmmm. Yeah... By the time we finished that I believe that the guy in charge decided that we were not an "OH NO" moment after all. Every other church I have ever been to that did a church clean up there were only 3 or 4 families that showed up and the cleaning went past lunch, So I went prepared with a pound of ham, a pound of turkey, a pound of cheese, 2 bags of chips, a bag of baby carrots, a box of oatmeal cream pies, the 5 gallon drink cooler, and enough koolaid & sugar to make 8 gallons of koolaid. *grin* So after I found there was nothing left for me to "do" the list contained "Change bulbs in the choir loft, fix shingles on roof, Replace door gasket on fridge, Paint the grill, scrub the screen porch" et al, I went to the basement fellowship hall(OH MY! it was already done up for the Homecoming tomorrow! and us cleaning today!) and I very very very very carefully mixed up 3 gallons of kool aid and then set the cooler up outside for the menfolk & the boys that were working. The kids were all in the playground raking the mulch and making it look better- you know "refreshing it" after having worked for a good 45 minutes on the pine straw mulch on the one side of the church. I called out there was kool aid and that KIDS had to keep their cups in the "pit" where the cooler was so that we did not end up with red cups all over the lawn(no complaints and they were not only my kids) then the girls (18yo and 16yo) I carried the oatmeal cream pies around and offered the guys doing the REAL work a snack and a cup of kool aid or water letting them know where the kool aid was. A couple of the guys out of the 8 that were there said no thanks but then did go and get their own. Another one of the guys stopped me and told me that he absolutely loved my family and thanks us for coming out and helping and feeding and.... LOL the koolaid and snack re-energized um and they got done by 10:30! The girls and I kept them all in water and koolaid and we had no need for the sandwich stuff. We even got to sweep up the bits of grass that had been tracked into the fellowship hall area. So I arrived and had the immediate thought "Oh- I am not supposed to be here!" I was the only woman there- aside from my daughters... But I stayed and was used. It is nice to know that you are appreciated.

Don't think that God doesn't take notice of it either. HE MOST DEFINITELY DOES!!!! He will bless you for your willingness to help and also for the good testimony that it is. I Corinthians 15:58 Give it a read. Whine..... No body seems to be answering my other posts on the forums. I think some of them are getting ignored. Maybe with reason. Maybe not. I don't know, but I wish someone would answer. 2Preacher

I assure all of you that I am not a "troll". I just like to be responded to because it says someone is listening to my words. Maybe I like a little attention. Is there anything wrong with that? 2Preacher

Popsi: I have been posting on at least six of these forum threads. I am just wondering where every one is. I don't mean to whine about it. BTW being married is Great at times but being single also has its benefits. Not making fun of you. I understand what lonliness is all about . God has someone out there for you. Just wait and see. He will come and He will be the love of your life. I found my love 28 years ago. She is the love of my life. Outside of Jesus, who is my very best friend, my wife is my one true love. Hang in there kid. Things will change. It is all in God's plan for each of us. Let Jesus fill the void. He will. You're never lonely with him at your side. 2Preacher

whine- I weigh more than I should and I need to lose the weight. Whine- it is hard to do with my wife's cooking. Whine- I need to get more exercise, but it is hard for me to exercise. It hurts, NOT in a bad way but in a " I haven't done this in a long time" sort of way. Afterwards it feels GREAT!!!! Whine - I can't have the things I like to eat. OH well, IF I keep at it the rewards will come. I need to lose about 100 lbs. or so. For the sake of my family, my health, and my ministry which are three GREAT reasons, I'm going to stick to it. Pray for me. Whine or maybe praise, I sure do SLEEEEEEEEEEEEP better at night now. 2Preacher

Ezri, I haven't been on here in a few days, so I'm just now catching up. Thanks for your post about your husband. I did not realize he was being deployed to Iraq. I will keep him and you and your kids in my prayers.

Thanks Bzirk- I am currently dealing with a delayed flight that is putting him 24 hours late getting home from this little jaunt over there. YES I AM POUTING! He was going to be home tomorrow. Oh well. nothing like being trapped in a holding area beyond customs with 100 of your newest friends to chat about Jesus. I wonder if they are having church right now? nah only 5am there so probably not. ~e
