ORIGINAL: jchaz Sandy Claws iz watchin U.... by 'Linnerd'. You're too much. Charlie!! I can't pick one favorite, but my most favorite right now is Hope Has Hands by Triumphant. Hope has hands, Freedom has feet, Truth will stand, the Word will speak. The Holy and lowly will finally embrace For Love has a heartbeat, and Grace has a face.

If it's Gerald Wolfe singing, "O Holy Night." If it's anyone else, maybe "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear."

"O Holy Night" sung by Gerald Wolfe. Seen him sing it in person many times. And it is better each time I hear him sing it.

My new favorite as of this weekend is Mary Did You Know by the Old Paths. I have never heard this song performed by a bass singer before and man does Brandon Barry do a jam up job. I recommend the entire CD to anyone.

I love to hear bass singers sing Mary Did You Know and Eric Bennett is great singing the song. He's been singing it many years and often does in throughout the year in programs.

I also love Sweet Baby Jesus by Jeff and Sheri Easter. And a fun one is Jingle Bells done by Dean and Kim Hopper with David Phelps.

Bobby I haven't heard Eric sing the song. I will have to try to remedy that. I love Triumphant Quartet especially that Alabama Bass Singer.

I heard John Nix, Bass Singer of Tennessee Harmony do a great job of singing Mary Did You Know last night. It's one of my favorites and one of the most requested songs for me this time of year. I also get a lot of requests to sing Beautiful Star Of Bethlehem, O Holy Night, and Come On Ring Those Bells A few of my favorites to sing are: Jesus Christ Is Born, This Is What Christmas Is For, Birthday Of A King and C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S(C is for the Christ Child) I am lucky enough to get to sing Christmas music 5 times this week. Once at a Nursing Home, 3 times at area restaurants, and Wednesday at a church service. I also sang at a retaurant yesterday afternoon.

I would have to say it is Angels We Have Heard on High from and old album, A Cathedral Christmas A Capella. Every song on that album was good. I would like to find it on CD but I don't think it is out there. I had it on cassette years ago.

I know this is a Southern Gospel Forum, however, I found a christmas I fell in love with last year out of the country music field, and in my opinion, fits country gospel to a T. The Star Still Shines- Diamond Rio. It is an awesome song with a great message in it. The Chorus to it is as follows: "The Star Still Shines After All This Time, As A Light For Me and You. It Beckon's Us To Seek Him, Wise Men Still Do, Wise Men Still Do" In Southern Gospel: Go Tell It On The Mountain- Gold City Beautiful Star- The Singing Echos Mary Did You Know- Mark Lowery But, I like all the traditional songs as well, Silent Night, Away in a Manger, O Holy Night.
