Oh, here's one I've posted before. I'll do this, then I HAVE to get back to work.

You're in the grocery store, produce section. You spot a person who's trying to decide which one to pick. You walk up, put one in his hand and say "here, I think this is the one you want" then walk away. You'll leave the guy speechless. A little while later, you see the guy again with the produce in his basket. "Wise choice" you say with a wink, and you're off again. Soon, the guy is hunting you down 'cause he doesn't want you to get away. One of the two of you will say "we've got to stop meeting like this", exchange phone numbers, and enjoy a nice romantic dinner for two.

Shuwcks!! How come this never happens to me? :(

I chose "The man, always" because it is the closest to what I believe is right; however, I don't think it is a hard fast "rule" that MUST always be followed, but as a principle that should generally be practiced.

There are times where I do believe it would be unreasonable to expect a woman not to ask. For example, I have friends who are members of the local theater and have season tickets. When they are unable to attend a performance they will often give me their tickets. Often I will ask out women (as friends) because the of the circumstances. If a woman were in such a circumstance, is it reasonable for her to keep quiet about her circumstances and just hope that someone will happen to ask her out that evening, and that they will not have other plans for the evening? What I do have a hard time with is the idea that a woman must ask because the man is too insecure to step up to the plate, or because the woman is so aggressive that she cannot wait. Neither of these reflect the kind of character and values that I believe are important in a godly relationship.

This is exactly why I say women should communicate availability/openness. How is a guy supposed to know? Some people consider that to be the woman taking the lead.

Not if it's done by a Christian! Besides, this scenario is more for the "wow" effect... I'm not sure I've even had the opportunity to try... I usually try to get out of the grocery store as quickly as I can.

Oh..ok. I'm the same. I'm in and out. We'll see if I can get any courage to try accidentally bumping my cart to a man I find attractive while doing my groceries...lol....that's probably the only way I'll meet anyone in a store.

There are some stores around here I would not try that... but there are others where I'm like "wow" so this is where all the bachelors shop! Actually, I don't want to meet someone at the grocery store, but it's a fun place to practice flirting and make someone feel good.

Don't lead us on if we have no chance, ladies.

Yea ladies dont lead us on that just is not nice. It hurts and makes us feel well it is just not Christlike.

The last guy I was interested in, I invited him to a couple's card game. All of the ladies I play with are married, but me.

He was totally up for it and had a GREAT time.

Luckily for me I won the door prize which was dinner for two at a local restaurant. So as we were in our respective cars (we drove seperately) I merely asked him if he wanted to share the certificate with me.

He accepted. That was my subtle way of letting him know I was interested and for him to take it from there.
