Exactly - and that is a grand difference and renders Cow's statement incorrect.

Cow's statement was they admitted they used forged statements which they did. There is a controversy over when they realized they were forgeries which I don't wish to go into. So Cow was correct in that Michael Anton who was a member of the NSC said they were forgeries though there admission came after the fact.

It really was a hard thing to look up though because there is so much blog garbage from both sides to sift through. I honestly don't believe they knowingly used forgeries (I know I said I wouldn't go there... ) I believed they were simply wrong.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Democrats are calling for an investigation into President Bush's assertion in his State of the Union address that Iraq tried to buy uranium in Africa -- a claim the White House has since admitted was erroneous.

OK so they didnt buy from Africa but they had 550 tons of the stuff so they got it somewhere.

They did get it from Niger... in 1981. This from the Iraq Survey group:

According to Ja’far, the Iraqi government did not purchase uranium from abroad following its acquisition of yellowcake from Niger in 1981. However, Iraq also purchased uranium dioxide from Brazil in 1982.

This is a good recipe using yellow cake mix. I've made it several times.
I've even used real apples instead of Stouffers boxed frozen.

It's a can't miss, winner of mass delicsiousnous imo!

NO PUMPKIN! NO PUMPKIN!

Hey c'mon now, pumpkin farmers got to make a living too.

Besides, you want to make the Great Pumpkin mad so it won't deliver "toys to all the good little children in the world" next halloween?

You philistines who hate pumpkin have severely unrefined taste buds! Pumpkin is way more than just pie. You can bake, roast, broil, and stew it. You can add all kinds of things to it for flavor. You can make breads and soups from it. You can roast and flavor the seeds any number of ways. You can make interesting figures to stand in your yard for the amusement of your neighbors.

Pumkin rules!

The Great Pumpkin brings me lots of stuff cause I'm not eating his cousins, brothers and sisters. Cannibals.

Not to mention pumpkin eggnog, just got that yesterday. It's pretty much like drinking pumpkin pie so yea it's good.

So to stay on topic here, no, I would not advocate substituting yellow cake for pumpkin items this holiday season.
