Well, sports IS this country's biggest religion...

Do you know how many guys go to church with those little ear pieces so they can listen to the game during the service? Then they stand around in the foyer talking sports before going home to watch yet more sports!

Where can you get a pair of those earpieces?

Radio Shack of course! Right along with that slim pocket-sized radio you plug them into. Of course nowdays there's the blue tooth and your mutlifunctional cellphone set-up.

Since I go to a circle meeting/house church these days, I haven't been in a regular church except with my mother from time to time. I DO remember a guy who was apparently listening to the UT/Gators game a few years back, forgot he was in church, and jumped up hollering over a bad call by the ref. His poor wife looked soooo embarrassed!

Wouldn't this game have been on a Saturday?

Let's not let facts get in the way of a good story.

Obviously the championship will be between the two SEC teams....as usual. ummm I wonder if Obama is going to restructure the SEC in order to make it fair.

The SEC has already been restructured. Have you seen Tennessee play this year?

There is nothing unfair about SEC football. But this year and last year the SEC had the two top teams for the season. The SEC championship will be the game that determines the #1 team. Obama is so big on fairness this is an example of how it will not be fair. It does not matter how he tries to re-work the system there will be times when it is not fair. He needs to place the bowl games and college football games in a category beyond his job discription.
