Oh I just love when conservatives evaluate a liberal administration.

It's gonna be bad, bad, and some more bad.

Compared to what America has had - Condi Rice
Clinton will end up being a Superstar.

Whats a matter folks, after threatening the whole world for 8 years you don't think Hillary's mean & nasty enough?!

What Hillary won't be is different then what we already had in the past, whatever one imagines her 'superstar' status might be - and it contradicts Obama's faux 'no more politics as usual' claim.

One thing Hillary certainly represents, if anything, is 'politics as usual'.

What I find humorous is imagining Hillary taking orders from Jr. Obama...

On that I would beg to disagree. Condi's been a lap dog for the administration, Hillary's an attack dog.
I'd call that a "new" approach.
I was a Clinton supporter until the final primaries, although in hindsight I'd say she's got too much baggage to win a general election for President; So in that, I agree with you, she's definitly politically divisive. Will she stand up to Obama and tell him she thinks he's wrong? Darn straight! That's another "change" that might be welcome as well.
Some of us people voted for Obama because he's willing to listen to all points of view, something Bill Clinton did as well, but I suspect Barack won't be as beholden to special interests as Bill was (another change!).
I also like the fact that the "liberal" side of the press MSNBC, WashingtonPost hasn't been real supportive of the selection (another change for a Democratic President! ).

Why would you want a cabinet member to attack the President? That would be a new approach!

Sure; but there won’t be any change from politics as usual. Hillary is the embodiment of politics as usual.

Well, except for the Unions, the hard left, the gay lobby, minorities groups, ACORN, etc…

Actually, I don’t know anyone who is supportive of the selection, except for you.

That's being unusually obtuse. An attack dog, lap dog or even a show dog are still the control of their masters; The difference being only the attack dog let's it's master know when he's doing something foolish.

Actually, I would think an attack dog would generally be used to deal with others who threaten the owner of the dog.

And I generally hope masters instruct their dogs, not vice versa.

Maybe my definition of an attack dog is a bit different, guess I could have used hunt'in dog.
I know that out in the California desert (at my brother's) or in the woods of Wyoming a dog's "told" me a few times when it felt I was being careless about rattlesnakes or bears.

Whatever the case may be, Hillary's a strong willed and tough individual, something that America needs when dealing wih other countries.
Can we at least agree that the new Sec. of State should be tough minded?

Certainly; though my criticism of her selection has less to do with 'tough mindedness' and more to do with the fact that it contradicts Obama's claim to be bringing change to Washington.

Somehow in the spirit of Democratic Party unity I doubt this will happen. Can't let the world see them disagreeing.

They had better stay away from Ft. Marcy Park....................

Hmmm. Only 4 would have to die to make her president (Unless I missed one)

I don't think I'd take that risk personnally but obama is welcome to.

If there were to be some "true salvation" now that would be change.

And to follow the "ways" of God instead of man. That's change I
can believe in.

I liked this choice. One of the few ones I actually like so far. I guess Obama did good with the treasury pick. The Stock Market overall has been up since that particular one. But the Hillary pick I like. I've grown to like her a lot this year when she showed determination and good leadership skills.

Personally, I would feel better about her then I would Nancy Pelosi! But that's just me. I've never been a big Hillary fan, but I still think she has more brains than Pelosi. That woman has got to go!

"He calls it "a brilliant stroke" by President-elect Barack Obama, who opposed Clinton for the Democratic nomination.

Says Limbaugh: "You know the old phrase, 'You keep your friends close and your enemies closer?' How can she run for president in 2012? She'd have to run against the incumbent and be critical of him -- the one who made her secretary of state."

She was probably done anyway. This was her best shot. In 2016, she'll be in her late 60's.

More like late 70's.
