Hello Zack_NorcalRiders
Haven't you heard of the spirit of the anti Christ. He is getting stronger and a showdown will come one day. This world will go through some aweful things, as it says in Revelation. But what say you? Will you endure to the end? Will you sacrifice your comfort if necessary and forge ahead in your faith?
The days of the comfort Christian is coming to a close. It's time to stand up and be counted. But be assured that God will carry you through to success.

Being from California, you are being targeted because of the opposition to the passage of proposition 8. When I read your post, that was the first thing that came to my mind. This is a minor incident compared to what we may face in the future, and California is right smack dab on the front lines. As another posted on here, Rejoice, because Jesus said we are blessed when we are persecuted; remember, His prophets were persecuted, and He was too for your sake. His persecution led to your salvation. It is reason to be joyful and to know that He has your back and understands how you wanted to react. Do you know what His reaction was? He prayed to the Father and asked that they be forgiven because they did not know what they were doing.

Zack,I am sorry to hear you were attacked for being a christian.I believe that God blesses those who are persecuted for his sake though.

he may have had a bad experience with Christians and religion. but after all, Jesus did say the world would hate us as it hated him.

The early Christians died at the stake for their faith so i guess we may have to tough out some cups of ice water here in the USA.

Lately, I have been harassed by a old woman who belongs to Jehovah witnesses who lives in my block.
The Bible says that "The righteous will be persecuted," so there you go!

I suppose you could have shouted back, "That's a bad idea! You're going to need all the ice you can get where you're going." But, that probably wouldn't have been the right message.
Actually, the best thing in that situation would probably just be to say, "May the Lord bless you!" and do nothing at all. But, when you verbally bless them... it is important that you mean it. :)
