Thank you shadowspring. That is exactly what I was getting at.

clag4christ - I am not judging anyone's decision on here as being for the wrong reasons. In fact, I haven't said anything bad about any of your who are QF, so I'm really not sure where you got that from but if I wasn't clear, I apologize. I could be wrong, but you seem upset by what I've said and I'm flummoxed as to why. I didn't think what I said was outrageous.

You are right - I don't know you all. That's why I wasn't talking about you all. My ONLY point was that even good things can be done for the wrong reasons. And let's face it - with 6 billion people on this planet, some folks are going to do even good things for the wrong reasons or for really stupid reasons. Trust me, I've seen some pretty wacky stuff out there.

Oh goodness...I sure hope I never come across one of those men who is convicted to wear only ties.

<Moderator hat on>

This thread is not about being QF or reasons for being QF. This thread is about what you would do if appreciable odds of passing on a genetic disease or disorder were present. Please, do not make this discussion something it isn't, and only discuss QF as it pertains to how you would make that decision.

Thank you!
