You are welcome Maggie

So I want to fill my hummingbird feeders one more time. But the rule of thumb is to fill them April 15th- Sept.15.
I think, because of the warm weather we are haveing, I could get by with one more fill. Then I will take the feeders and store them until April 15th.
Poor little birds are looking around for feed. I can't disappoint them.

Barb, I've always ready that it's even more important to feed them at the end of the season -- for as long as you see them -- because they are storing up for their flight south. The end of the season, of course, is dependent on where you live -- for me, that would be later than for you.

I've had a pretty full day. Garrett's grandparents came this morning to watch him get on the school bus . . . he gets so excited about it, and they wanted to see him. In fact, I think they will be here in a few minutes to watch him get off also. Then I had to run to the Senior Center to help my friend; ate lunch there also, then went to the OA meeting. After that, another friend & I went to the grocery store, then I took her home. Now, I'm finally home, and I'm tired! And Eddie just got off the bus . . means Garrett will be here shortly. But he will spend the evening with grandma instead of me. Guess I'm relieved in a way.

Maggie, you sounded very tired . . hope you are doing ok.

Leah,
I spent a rather boreing afternoon..inside. Them bees are terrible outside. So I was reading my book insted. Took Isabelle outside for 10 minutes, until her daddie came to pick her up. Got the empty feeders inside to wash and refill. I will wait until dusk to fill and hang them back outside.

Barb....I'm craving some of those peas.... Yes! Today would have been a good sit in the sun day. My mom got to, and I should have. Had a long nap. Hope it helps. Emily slept a lot today and caught up on some of her computer business. Elizabeth got it into her head to clean, clean, clean. She must be feeling better.

Didn't the disciples think it was Peter's ghost that came to the door?

And didn't they think it was Jesus's ghost when the saw him?

Wonder why they think people can come back to earth if it is not possible?

And who stood with Jesus in the garden that Peter said he would build a tent for? Or something like that. Weren't they dead?

People believe that there are ghosts because of the manifestation of demonic spirits. The devil likes to confuse people and trick whomever he may. If you can convince someone that great aunt Tilly is with them then they will allow these demonic beings into their homes. It's their "foot in the door" so to speak. Having all these disembodied folk in all of these places also takes the focus off of God's true word and gets folks to stray. God's Word becomes fuzzy and the people will listen to the demonic voices (Aunt Tilly) instead of the Holy Spirit. This can then get folks to fall away and all truth becomes distorted. It's a very clever and calculated move against the children of God. God's Word clearly states that it is appointed to men ONCE to die and then there is the judgment. Nobody is allowed to float around all confused and searching for peace.

Hope that helps.

Oh Sharon! How nice of you to come in here specially to celebrate Barb's birthday! And a good reminder to the rest of us. You might be a day ahead though. Thursday is the 18th and today, Wednesday, is the 17th. But since you've started it, I'll join in.

Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday, dear Barb!
Happy Birthday to you!

I hope you have a wonderful day and a great celebration. Knowing how family oriented you are, I'm guessing your kids and hubby will do something special and nice for you.

Yeah, Linda, I was pretty exhausted today. It was a hard one but things got better. Now I need to sleep.

Yeah, I thought about my message at the bottom of the birthday post as I was preparing an email for my niece Angie's husband whose birthday is the 18th also. I went back and edited my post about it.

I must have just caught a glimpse when they changed the front forms page where they list the birthdays, and thought I was seeing that it was today... even after seeing the date on her profile page as the 18th. What can I say, LOL, I am having those airhead moments more frequently.

H
APPY BIRTHDAY BARB ! ! !

Yeah, Sharon, thanks for reminding us . . . . I had no idea that birthday page was there

Dee, where have you been keeping yourself all week??? . . Are you doing ok? . . . I've been missing you -- and Ginny, too! Wonder where she is???

I'm ready to throw Bill's alarm clock out the door! For some crazy reason, it had been going off at 12:00 noon this week, so I finally set it the other day to go off at 6:30. Well, it went off at 6:30 yesterday evening -- and actually Bill was in bed asleep cuz he'd not slept well the night before and was taking a nap before supper. Then, I'm sleeping away (in the recliner) tonight and an ear-piercing screech goes off! HIs alarm again, tho a sound from it I'd not heard in years . . . and it just kept going off!! I finally got out of the recliner and went in and shut it off. Bill was sleeping away, and didn't even wake when I said something to him . . . good grief! Now I'm wondering what in the world he took that would cause him to sleep that deeply -- I mean, I had to put my hand on him and jostle him a bit to make sure he was okay. He finally stirred a little, but by no mean woke up. Of course, I woke up. And am still awake . . . . . I'd been so tired all evening, and was looking forward to getting a good night's sleep

Good Thur. Morning Everyone

Sharon!! How sweet of you to remember my birthday
Another year older
Thought of you when me and hubby had to go to Fondy last Sat. Needed a battery for Ethan's 4-wheeler. Had to go to Battery Plus. I have been wanting to see them Wind mill farms all summer now. So hubby took the back roads so I could see them. Pretty neat!

Momma-mo, I have them peas in the freezer. Wish you lived close so I could share them.

Maggie, yes it was nice to turn on my computer this morning and see all these birthday wishes. No family gathering tonight. Oldest daughter has to work, older son is watching his kids while his wife works, Katie is takeing her engagment pictures tonight, Cody has to work. Only one around is Tommy and his wife. But I asked hubby to take me out to eat tonight insted.Have the grandsons here today, so I'm good. I have five children her as a matter of fact. Busy busy day. Plus Isabelle will be here soon. The three older kids are running around the liveingroom right now with the two babies sleeping. Been awake since 5:15AM with the grandsons. Gave baby Brett a bath already even. So I am figuring I will NEED a BREAK for tonight. LOL

Dee, thank you

Leah, thank you also. Hey..you must have that alarm clock set on the PM mode. Check it out, and put it on the AM mode, and you should'ent have anymore problems

Yeah, Barb, the 6:30 time was obviously on PM mode, tho I had tried hard to get it to AM and thought I had . . . it's not easily made clear what mode it's on. The 1:00 AM alarm . . I have no idea where that came from -- maybe the dual alarm, tho I had not set it on that. Possibly Bill did when he went to bed. I asked him this morning how many sleeping pills he'd taken (I think they were Tylenol PM), and he said 2. Obviously, that was too many. I tried to tell him about not being able to get him awake. Don't know if it got thru.

I did eventually get back to sleep, and slept pretty good until about 7:00 this morning. Garrett just got here, so I'll be feeding him shortly and putting him on the bus in about an hour. I got some cleaning done on my sewing room before he came, and will go back in there as soon as he leaves.

Hi all!

Leah, I'm still around. My kids got me hooked on Webkinz, so I've been playing that some. They've got this thing for about a week where if you click on leaves, you get prizes for your account, so I've been doing that. But no worries, I've figured out how to get two windows open so I can read and post here while I'm waiting for leaves.

Good Friday Morning Everyone

Thank you Ginny

Had a lovely night out with my husband last night. I asked if we could please go out to eat, and he said "Got any money" Gee..I had to pay for my night out. But we went for Mexican food, and I even tryed my first ever, Stawberry Daqueri (oh, I don't know how to spell it) Sure was good tho. I told him not to make it to strong. I'm not much of a drinker when it comes to alcohol.
But after yesterday, I did'ent want to even think about cooking supper. I spent the whole afternoon in the kitchen. From 1PM-6PM I was makeing applesauce. I had two five gallon buckets of wind fallen apples from my tree out back. Wow, did they make good applesauce! I have to core them and cook them until soft. Then I put them through the food mill. After that I put it back into the kettle. Then I add my sugar and cook it until it's thick. After that it's cool off time, and then it goes into the freezer qt. containers. I got twelve qts. so far. Now hubby went out this morning and picked some more. I have three,5 gal. buckets,to do today

Oh, Barb, as good as the applesauce sounds, I am so thankful I don't have to do that today --- sheesh! I'm sure your family will enjoy the applesauce for months to come, tho. I'm glad you got to go out with hubby for your birthday -- shame on him for not paying . . . . . I love Mexican food -- my favorite, really. But Bill doesn't like the Mexican restaurants in town, and it simply costs too much to drive to our favorite one about 20 miles away

Dee, it was good to see you back in here! . . . I checked out webkinz, but see you have to have a code off of a purchased webkinz to use it. Looked fun, tho, and already had Garrett's attention just while I was trying to sign up -- he was funny with it

I'm being lazy so far. I've been sitting here nearly since I got up, reading and playing. I decided not to go to gym since I'm going there in the morning for a nutrition class and can work out then. I really think I need to cut that to 2 days a week anyway. I do have some sewing I need to do today. I got the sewing room cleaned up pretty good yesterday, even dusted the living room and brought some of the fall things out. I also need to go to Walmart, and want to drive out the highway a bit and pick up some concord grapes.

Leah, your granddaughters are about the right age for Webkinz, maybe they have accounts.

I probably would have avoided the whole Webkinz thing, except that my 4yo won a free stuffed animal from the local Christian radio station. So then my then 10 and 13yo kids wanted accounts. Now I have one too. It gives me something to shop for on ebay.

My daughter came home and said "let's go to garage sales." So we all went. I got a pile of shirts for my son for 25 cents each. I'm not sure how many sales start tomorrow; it looked like a lot of them started today on the list my daughter printed out.

G-mornin' all! I'm up early. My hubby is going to take me in a few minutes to the ER to have this dumb asthma attack tended to. This sickness we have is really messing us up. I'm going to be checked for pneumonia, which for me, means a hospital stay. Later my mom will be taken down to be checked at the ER. She is in bad shape with this thing. Wish hubby could take us both at once, but, I don't have anyone to stay with the kids. If I had my way the whole load of us would be checked for pneumonia. I feel like the doctors are just best guessing and nobody is better. I'm going to insist soon!

Anyway, it's a really pretty morning here and the leaves are changing. I'll enjoy the ride down. We're going to stop at McDonald's and get some biscuits first because the average ER stay is 2 to 3 hours. Ugh.

I spent nearly 5 hours in the ER. They gave me 3 breathing treatments(and typing isn't easy when you're as shakey from meds as I am! ) They said my lungs were inflamed and I have bronchitis. So they sent me home. Now, this has been the routine....3 other times I've gone, they say it's not pneumonia, just bronchitis, send me home, within hours I'm back at the ER...and another doctor or one of my doctors will see the x-rays, say it's pneumonia, and plant me in the hospital to recoop. The hospital itself has a good reputation and always takes good care of me, but the ER staff, although nice, are usually not good at spotting pneumonia. My pulmonologist will have a field day with this tomorrow.

Yeah, the whole family needs help. I'm the only one that drives because my mom gave up driving. My husband works late every night...If I'm sick, too sick to drive....then what? God's going to have to work this one out. I think hubby will have to stay home tomorrow. My mom needs the doctor badly, and my doctor will want to see me immediatly to see if it really is what they said it wasn't.

Oh well. Things can always be worse! Praise God He loves me and protects me.

I'm glad to read you're home, Momma-Mo . . I think. I do hope it's not pneumonia. What a predicament, tho, with all of you sick at once. Do you have a good friend that could come by & help out?

Wow, Momma Mo! Your pulmonologist needs to educate the ER staff! I hope the whole family can be taken care of. I remember the days when everyone in the family came down with lung infections of one sort or another. It was not fun. {{{{{Momma Mo}}}}}
