Really interesting. What doctrinal points do you disagree with? Do you profess to be a Christian? And what school of theology do you adhere to?

Awesome, thank you for replying and not getting offended. I asked because not everyone that does post here is a Christian (by their own admission).

I cannot claim to know ALL of his beliefs - but that which I have heard, read and studied is doctrinally sound. Again, the core essentials are one thing - secondary issues are entirely a different matter (generally speaking).

I have not been able to catch a recent broadcast lately. It's been over a year actually since I last caught one, my work schedule and the arrival of our first baby changed a lot of what used to be free time.
What prompted my questions to you was moreso in inquiring what problems would a self-professing Christian have with his teachings. Considering he does adhere to the core essentials of biblical Christianity. I was hoping to get an answer, some insight, into that from you. To see where he differs so much to the point where you would say:
a) I would not attend his church
b) I do not agree with his theology

I am not saying anything good or bad about dispensational theology, perhaps berean dispensational theology. I just do not subscribe to it as much as I think he does.

My response? Nope. If anyone can show me with the Word that it is indeed a core essential, I will buy them a steak dinner.

I, too, believe that is an unessential doctrine; but take a side trip over to the End Times folder, there are many posts that use Scripture to prove their point. Some churches attempt to equate their end times belief with that of salvation, but I still believe that no one can equate that as salvific.

I've listened to him for 14 years. I don't think I've heard anything from him I disagreed with.
And now that markizo mentions it, I probably wouldn't go to his church either. Super churches kind of turn me off; I'd much rather be studying under his tutelage, that sitting in a huge theater...
