I'll tell you one thing, I thought this whole thing was hysterical - and I was as far off on the Doyle Lawson thing as anyone else! Thanks Daniel, for a great laugh. 
It was great seeing Steve, Daniel, JChaz, Robbie, and others there. Just wished I could have also seen Dinana, GVfan and all the other superheroes of this board.

I read all this yesterday and thought I would come back at this tonight. I still don't think this was funny. I am the first to enjoy a good joke, but this was something false from the start.
I guess GeraldWolfe is Daniel too, maybe LibbieStuffle. I am just disappointed....

Here's what I thought: The guy may have used his own picture, but erased the face on it so that it'd be kind of like a "solvable" mystery.
I must say, this thing went on for probably at least a year before a number of people caught on that the man in the pic was Doyle Lawson, so I wouldn't have thought that was necessarily a really foolish idea.

I remember sending Amerigrandpa a PM and asked him if he was Doyle Lawson because his avatar kinda looks like Doyle Lawson but with the ? on his face
