OK in you saying that because Paul and others were harsh justifies your actions....

They also saw angels, talked about 3rd heaven and having visions of things to come but you yourselves have said many times that teachers that teach about this are in error..

so why is it that you can be justified in your actions because Paul and JESUS etc were harsh and Teachings about 3rd heaven , visions and Angels are error?

Enough of this Paul arguing. I could use some cash like everyone else. Now since I can go down there and get gold teeth I'm starting to wonder how many gold teeth would I need to get to buy a set of dentures, pay my dentist for pulling original teeth and still have some cash left over? I've never tried to pawn off gold teeth before so this revival thing has me thinking.

I've looked at the pictures (as proof of God) of the gold teeth.
Those that are good enough to actually see them reveals to me
the hand of a dentist. You can see the forming made. But, silly
me, an angel dentist must have formed them.

Facing a root canal and/or extraction, a gold tooth would feel
pretty good, except I know this is all fictitious.

Same with the chicken/duck feathers they pass off as angels
playing the drums. I can't fault them all that much, I was just
as stupid (naive) as they are years ago.

So you agree with Jesus and Paul (and others from Scripture) being "harsh", as you put it?

You have misunderstood me about angels, etc.. the problem is not with speaking about things such as that. As long as it is done in light of Scripture. What Todd Bentley and others do is speak out of their own imaginations and or from demonic sources.

Not agreeing with you means we're immature? This is a discussion board, not a forum of everyone agreeing with you.

Proving that Charisma Magazine never learns, despite what they claim, they are now promoting The Winchester Outpouring here, as well as many other outpourings like the Golden Gate Outpouring, and continuing to promote the Lakeland Outpouring under this guise. So much for Lee Grady musing how Lakeland could possibly have happened and that all the people whould have run for the exits…

gold tooth

Prock said a perfect example of this took place at an auto shop, where a church member’s testimony triggered a gold filling inside the mouth of a mechanic.

So I should keep my current set of chompers instead of getting some or all pulled and going to Winchester to get a brand new gold set? Man, I thought this was my ticket to prosperity!

Go ahead and burn me at the stake now.

Since it's the rest of us that are guilty of forwarding some kind of agenda, just what sorts of actual ministry do you do on these forums aside from, what appears to be, an exclusive attention to defending your beliefs, something that may give you a sense of mission but not what I'd call fellowship or ministry.

You are, I hope, aware that this forum has many, many other folders and threads filled with people needing encouragement, advice, or Christian friendship - even humor. Yet, when I find you it's hashing out doctrine, not in practicing whatever it is that's special about your beliefs.

Feel free to ignore me or tell me again how rude you think my observations are.

If there is an "agenda" on my part I guess I would hope it to be showing how Christian brothers and sisters can disagree without going for the throat or calling other people "nutcases" or "hippies" or whatever just because they dont see eye to eye.

In my discussion I try very hard (failing at times) to remain humble and refuse to resort to name-calling or making fun of others just because they don't see things the way I see things.

Some things NEED to be made fun of. Don't expect me to shed any tears over a group that it only takes seconds of time to see that

1. They are deliberating imitating the joke that was Lakeland.

2. How obvious could it be that the attention and visitors brought mucho dinero into the picture. These guys have seen it and WANT it.

3. They want it desperately enough to stick a bird feather on a drum and holler "angel!".

4. They put up a web site to promote it.

5. They even copied the word "outpouring" in style directly from Lakeland.

"Oh but they just love Jesus."

I am sure God is laughing at our jokes.

there, I fixed what I think you were trying to say.

Actually when someone claims to be saved and to even have a _special_ outpouring from God, they can either

1. Be better than the rest of us spiritually as they ADVERTISE, or

2. Compare with the Bible and

3. Compare with the truth of reality

and come up with a different conclusion than their group.

So that would justify mocking them?

Why do you think it is "mocking" to call a feather a feather? Seriously.

As far as "making fun of", that is a time-proven technique which helps us avoid such errors as snake-handling and drinking poison or sending money to televangelist looters.

What I consider "mocking" is making fun of others because of their beliefs.

Done in the context of a relationship I might see your point (although I would greatly qualify what "making fun of" is and what is should be - many people use this as just another way to silence people and make themselves look superior in front of others). However, let us not forget that the people who are handling snakes, drinking poison or sending money to looters are real people created in the image of God and loved by God. They deserve more than just our jokes.

peace.

Being "offended" about whatever is really a technique for ignoring what the actual point was in the first place.
