Same here, Ryanne. I tried coupons several times in the past and it was a big waste of time for me. Same with the whole CVS thing. I just don't buy the type of products the coupons or for, or the types of things CVS does for their deals. Toothpaste & candy would be the only two things we'd buy there.

I thought of something else today as I was filling out rebate forms - company sponsored mail in rebates are another really good way to save money. The bulk of my rebate savings comes from Bud and Coors forms, but they are NBPR (No Beer Purchase Required) in my state and many others, so you don't have to buy the beer at all to get the rebate. And their rebates are very generic, like $10 back when you buy $15 in meat, ice, salty snacks, bottled water, etc. Nothing brand specific. I save my receipts from every grocery trip and when I see a good MIR form, a lot of times I'll already have receipts with the items I need on them. I just have to fill them out and send them in. Looking over my rebates file, so far this year I've earned over $300 in rebates, not including the Walgreens submissions. Not too bad, for items we buy anyway.
