You alone know your best friend and what she likes. For me I focus on something that the person will enjoy and have some meaning for them. Be it reading, music, scrap booking, photography, art, etc. If she loves to read - a gift card to her favorite book store. Music - burn her favorite songs on a cd or get her itunes, something for ipod. Make a scrapbook of your friendship, or purchase materials for her to scrapbook. If she 's into photography or art, then maybe something that pertains to that. It's hard to say, if your are able to make something for her then do so because homemade gifts can be very personal. Either way she will love it because of your friendship and it came from you and your one of best gifts she will ever receive.
