You know you have the right candidate when...
The opposing side is throwing every tidbit at them hoping something sticks. The liberals look rather foolish lately.

The first two issues are in fact big issues, they show the character of the man who wants to be president. If BO would not like to be associated with racist pastors or domestic terrorists he probably shouldn't form long term relationships with them.

I'm sorry, but the whole thing with Obama's associations and how conservatives somehow think that because Wright has said negative things about America that Obama thinks the same way and that because William Ayers tried to blow stuff up in the 60s that Obama is a terrorist, is desperate.

McCain has 7 houses ... ooh aah. Governor Palin's daughter is pregnant, how could she run a country?

I don't think it is the fact that McCain has 7 houses but more his response to the question "how many houses do you own?". I don't know which of his answers were more ridiculous. "Eer...umm...I'll check with my staff" or "did I mention I was a POW?".

Again, I think it's not the fact that he has 7 houses but that he's so out-of-touch he had to ask his staff how many houses he owns and also how he responded to Leno's question about how many houses he owns by reminding everyone he was a POW. I think it's his response to Leno that's probably more absurd.

There are alot of working class Americans who have mulitple houses too that they bought as investments.
Palin can run our country and lead it as VP, because she holds the strong leadership qualities to do so.

Obama wasn't in church every week and when he was there he never heard Wright speak the way he did in the clips that came out during the election.

Do you think that maybe the leno comment was A JOKE. McCain actually has a sense of humor. If BO can't tell me every company that his money is invested in and how many shares of stock he has in each then i would appreciate it if he didn't try to use the same sort of thing against McCain.

Yeah he should have just continued to give time to the complete non-issue of the houses. Whether you like it or not him being a POW was a defining point in this mans life.

I don't think Wright truly felt that way. I think he was angry at a few things. He was angry because Obama was being treated very poorly by the media and he was angry or perhaps worried because Hillary had a good chance at taking the nomination away from Barack. But at the same time he was angry at Obama perhaps for abandoning his roots in Chicago as a man of the community. He very quickly came from that to becoming a presidential candidate. Maybe there was some anger over that. And you may think it's strange that he's angry at Obama for running for President but he's also angry at Hillary for lessening Obama's chance of becoming the nominee. But people are complicated. Not everyone is "straight" like conservatives. People have feeling and emotions and they think about things. So, during the primaries, he had a lot of anger. And he kind of vented it. From all accounts, he said some things that were very out of his character during the primaries.

Yes, I know. That's the point. Everybody knows. He doesn't need to bring it up all the time. He said himself a few years back that he doesn't like talking about it. Now he can't help himself. It's losing it's meaning. The more he and his Republican buddies talk about the less it really means. It's getting to point where people are like, "POW. So what?" It's not insensitive. I just think people are sick of hearing about it. Everybody acknowledge he went through a tough time. Why can't McCain and the GOP leave at that? Why do they have to keep bringing it up? When McCain talked about being a POW on the Tonight Show it was completely irrelevant and random.

And also, McCain doesn't mention it, his supporting cast does.
And are you calling his POW experience a "tough time"? Could you marginalize that anymore you think? Bob,,,,you ever even serve in the military?
