Caffeine, succintly put, interferes with your brain's ability to produce the chemicals that help you feel calm. You may want to increase your magnesium intake. Though no cure, I have experienced dramatic results with taking some vitamin supplements (mostly more B, and magnesium). Also let everyone around you know (who may be affected) what's going on. Let them know you might need to disappear for a few days, or to just ignore you if you get snappy. Some people have wonderful help from kava kava, it tends to make me, personally, a bit drowsy instead of soothed. Take care of yourself. I also eat "right" (nearly raw and vegan, even), but when that call come from my soul, for a pint of Ben & Jerry's, by golly my soul gets it. Spend a day in the tub reading a book. Have a movie-a-thon. Whatever makes you feel better.
