If you had to pick one movie that had you on the edge of your seat in suspense and excitement, which would it be?

I thought it had bad reviews mostly ?....

How bout all time? .....I liked The Matrix the first time I saw it...it was edge of your seat back then. Speed was too. I'm trying to think of first impressions....cuz after you see you movie many times it loses it's edge-of-your-seat excitement feel.

I'm not sure what the reviews were. But dude, that movie was a real thriller I thought. Has Pacino ever made a bad movie? I know alot of people think Scarface isn't a very appropriate move due to it's language, but he still played an amazing role on that one..

How about Cliffhanger? That was one crazy beginning to a movie! I saw that at the theatre when it came out.

I saw Alien in a theater when I was 12. That stupid monster would jump out and scare the daylights out of me everytime I started to get relaxed!

Collateral. Jamie Foxx was so believable.

There was one with George Clooney, Solaris or something like that. Had me on the edge of my seat...waiting for it to end so I could drag my sister out of the theater. [8D]

I couldn't see the stupid thing! The movie was so dark! Everyone around me was jumping out of their seat and screaming, and I didn't know WHAT was going on.. Shortly after that I went to the optometrist and got glasses.
I've got to throw in a second place vote for 'The Shining'.

The Shining was terrifying! I remember being psychologically disturbed by it for years after I saw it. Of course, I didn't help that I saw it like at age 8. [8|] (Talk about lack of parenting!....) ...I dunno. I'm not sure I felt it was edge-of-your-seat exciting as much as it was psychologically taut and scary.

LOL @ your Alien/glasses story. I've been there too....couldn't see freckles on my friends' faces until I got glasses. Didn't know they had freckles until then either. [sm=biggrin.gif]

Bourne Ultimatum was another one I'll add to this list. It was non-stop fast-paced action!

Seen it when I was 4 at the theatres. I since then have been traumatized at the beach, and of all places to grow up....Miami! I would never venture out too far in the beach!

My grandparents took me and my cousin to see that at the drive in. When that head fell out of the bottom of that boat, my grandma jumped up and hit her head on the roof of the car!

Arlington Road is a tense one...It had me jumping in my seat at times and constantly feeling psychological tension.

Jurassic Park 1!!! Litterally scared me into next week. Velociraptors opening doors! Yowzah! Unfortunately 2 & 3 were pretty mundane in comparison.
