Do you believe some people cannot stand a white woman who is attractive, loved by her family, successful in her undertakings, high intelligence and extremely popular?
Do you believe that is why some people hate her?

generally, the hate comes from both sides because it doesn't support the proposed personal agenda.
i however, like the truth, the objective facts to be the evident reason for judeo-christian morality and it's laws. i will support a candidate that reflects such.
and no, i don't try to hate, but we should be loving people.

I don't know whether it is a white thingy or not, but I do believe that many on the left hate her because she challenges what thier idea of a modern liberated woman should be.
The family values thing is what has got the left's tidy whities all in a knot.
As the libs and women's rights groups have spent 4 decades trying to project the ultimate woman as a bra burning, man hatin', angry, childless, atheistic, ruthless, victimized, ugly to the bone lesbian.
Ms. Palin sure sinks that little boat they have been trying to float.

Because many live in the Flesh.
There will always be those who hate just because that's in their heart. I have yet to read anything true for those who dis her and it's these are from supposed believers who are suppose to tell the truth. I don't get the venom from believers, but I do understand why those aren't believers.

Good point RC. I consider myself a liberated woman and I take that way back to my grandmother who was liberated back in the early 1900 along with most all my Aunts. We don't fit into the ideas of the Feminist movement....rather we fit more into the ideas given in Proverbs 31 of God's woman who can do more than just bake cookies.

Libs have deep hatred towards anyone who don't agree with their agenda.
The fact that she's a woman, and is "SUPPOSED" to be a lib BECAUSE she is a woman, infuriates them even more.
Clarence Thomas, Michael Steele, JC Watts and the many other "minority" conservatives "stir up" the same RAGE amongst the liberals....as they are supposed to be on "their side".....

um..people that don't like her agenda/policies/beliefs are haters and she is a definate threat to implement them because she is proficient at doing so?
So being hated is similar to beauty in one respect at least, it's sometimes in the eye of the beholder.

I don't know, but my niece goes to BJU, so I might be able to find out. The patrio-centircs would be more "conservative" than that since they generally frown upon sending daughters to college.
Jhud, there's more than three of them, and they're very LOUD. However, a minority among evangelicals and in the homeschooling community in particular. They have been an increased presence at annual state homeschooling conventions in recent years.

I know one person in my life who feels this way. I think he also has the poverty mentality that believes being poor is more godly than having something of value. I think it's an excuse he and his family use for contributing nothing of value to society.
I think they believe being able to quote the KJV of the bible is considered your highest calling in life.

I'm dead serious. I personally know women who don't vote because they don't think they should have had the right. My MIL is one of them.
The men will probably vote third party.

I've noticed too that some women seem to be jealous of her. I read here someone saying "she can't always get by on her looks" (or something close to that statement) and have read how some women are afraid that her success will higher the impossible standard of being supermom/women. A lot of women (who are probably not comfortable in their own skin ... but I do not know for sure why) compare themselves with other women and try to do what the other is doing. When the standard is high they find ways to put the one achieving great things down in order to minimize the accomplishments and feel better about themselves. We need to rejoice in others accomplishments and not measure ourselves against another persons achievements, and/or walk.
