Lewtide -> Stopping unwanted mail (8/22/2008 4:20:57 PM)

For some reason I cannot quite understand, I continue to be solicited by Playboy magazine. For several years, I have occasionally gotten a "try our magazine for $1 an issue" postcard, usually about once a year. I have never replied to them, yet I continue to get them.

Is there any way to get this to stop? Anyone have any similar experience? I wrote down the business reply address and will write to them to ask them to stop. I was just wondering if, since I despise their product, if there is any way I can threaten them if they do not "cease and desist" sending me this muck.

Thanks.

You may have to just ignore it. Contacting them will only let them know you are responding which encourages their filthy ambitions.

I still get porn circulars in the mail from the days when I used to order porn. From years ago. They go straight to the trash.

This site might be of some help:

Thanks guys.

I have been trashing them, but when I got that one the other day, I thought about my future (which may include a marriage to a lady with a young girl), and I trembled at the thought of my potential daughter-to-be getting something like that in the mail.

Be blessed.

most of the time you can call and unsubscribe to them....I think they have to allow the option...kind of like spam. I know one company that had that as an automatic option when I called the 800 number to cancel any future mailings, and it worked! Good luck.
