I'm late joining in and couldn't really vote in this poll because I'm separated. That doesn't fall under the catagory of married, not married, engaged or serious relationship.

In the middle of changing directions
I sell Avon and help my sister run her business. However, neither one of those really bring in much money. I'm home most days. I was going to start back to school working on my journalism major, but I had some red tape regarding my separation that kept my application from going through. I plan to start classes in January now. So I guess you could say that I'm in the middle of changing directions.

I'm 46, married with 1 child, a son who will be 22 soon, he no longer lives at home but is doing great. I miss him so very much as he lives about 1hr away and I don't get to see him as much as I would like. I've been married for 14 yrs to the greatest man ever. Although, we started out rough! My son was 7 when we married and it's always hard to blend when you've been used to being the mama and the daddy. God brought us together and we have worked through everything and continue to enjoy our lives.
Presently, I'm unemployed as I suspect a lot of people are these days! However, I'm working on my Real Estate license! Wish me luck as it's the hardest course ever!!!!
I have 2 dogs, 1 Black Lab (who is the Queen, so she thinks!!), 1 Chesapeake Bay retriever who is the happiest dog I've ever had! and last but not least.....a Pygmy Goat named Mabel who thinks she a dog! My life is full!

Although I do kind of have my eye on one of my fellow youth leaders...but that's another story in itself! For now I'm just waiting on God to send me my soulmate. Until then, Relient K put it into such wonderful words..."I'm still waiting for you to be the one I'm waiting for!"
