An upadte on my mother (has an aortic aneurism): My mother met with the surgeon yesterday and she will be undergoing further tests today to determine if she is can be a candidate for the laparoscopic repair instead of the more invasive surgery. However, it will be some time after Monday before any procedure will be performed. Discussing everything with the surgeon has calmed her considerably. Thanks for your prayers!

Morning all. Good to hear she is a bit more relaxed, Jimbo. That is often the worse part of any illness/disease. Please keep us updated and know that we are praying.

Waiting until after Monday has got to be hard. A lot of times, doctors discover a developing aneurism five or more years before surgeons are willing to consider the person for repair. Imagine knowing you have one for five to seven years. By comparison, a weekend isn't too bad. (My Mom's was discovered just at the stage they begin to consider the procedure.) It's definely serious but it's a God thing as to the timing.
