I can't believe I forgot to mention this and ask for prayer.....during the first quarter one of the little boys on ManCub's team broke his arm badly. After taking him to the hospital and getting x-rays, they had to transport him to a bigger, further away hospital 'cause he's gonna need pins, etc. His name is Carter, if y'all would pray for him. Poor little guy.

Poor guy! Of course, I'm sure once the pain stops, he will be quite proud of his battle scars.... if he's like pretty much all boys that age that is...

Thanks Wintery & Cammo.

Phosy, no doubt you're right. He's got guaranteed bragging rights and the worst part will be having to sit out the rest of the season.

I hated having to load/unload equipment when it rained. I was very glad everything had hard cases.

What do/did y'all sing Pammy?

A pretty nice mix of traditional and southern gospel. We do these programs only for nursing/retirement facilities. We're on our 15th year now. Funny thing is, as many different songs as we could do, it seems the homes we keep going back to, the residents want to hear the same things. Oh, what a blessing they are! We've found that even people who can't seem to relate to anything else can relate to music. It's so great.

Oh, boy, don't get me talking about this!

I'm glad you talked about it, Pam. I didn't know that you did this. Awesome!

NP, Lioness.

It's great when you see/hear about when kids achieve.

Its ok! It just boosts his confidence and helps him get out there and always do his best. Plus we're really proud of him. I know I would be. I cried the first time Little Man kicked a ball to me.

Pam -- love the avy!!! (I've loved Frasier since the show first debuted ... and I enjoyed Cheers before that!)

Well, Joseph is still sick ... ... Scott had to work today, and because he was the only one scheduled, I went in as well (it's a pizzeria). We took Joseph and Caleb with us. Caleb slept pretty much the whole day, and we set Joseph up to colour, etc. Well, at one point he grabbed his stomach and complained "it hurt, Mama ... tummy hurt" ... he started running to the bathroom and ended up getting sick beside the pizza oven ... He got a good dose of Gravol after that! It's not been a good weekend for the poor little man.

Anywho, I should get myself to bed ... I'm holding out another 10 minutes for Scott to come home with a tea from Tim Horton's for me. (To pass the time, I found Sleepless in Seattle on TV ... they must be doing a Meg Ryan/Tom Hanks thing on TV tonight, as You've Got Mail just ended)

Hey, I have been watching Frasier too! Its been on in reruns, which are new to me because I didn't watch the later episodes when they were still on NBC. I kinda rebelled against the show because of the whole Daphne and Niles thing.

Also because NBC put that show on to replace Seinfeld when they really oughta have put Just Shoot Me in its place instead, but anyway.

Okay ... I'm firing my hubby ... he forgot my tea!!! (I guess I could *possibly* forgive him since he has had a long day as well ... but it'll cost him a chocolate chip muffin AND the cup of tea -- tomorrow!)

Kara, do y'all own a pizzeria? That's pretty cool!

Pam, I very much enjoyed reading about your ministry . . . and I love Fraiser!

. . . and, I hope Carter will be well enough to soothe his mother and banged up enough to impress his friends.

Hubby works there, I do on occasion ... the owner is a nice Christian lady in her early 70s who is REALLY wanting to retire, so we are aiming to buy it in the spring, if all goes well.

Anywho, I'm off to bed ... this day has been psycho long for me.

HA! That's about the size of it.

I'm lovin' your sig, Sharon-Marie. I had to hunt down the source.

In conclusion - Happy Sunday Y'all!

I'm doing quite well this morning.

I could have used about an hour more of sleep, but you know...

Yeah, I know. I'm hoping to get my hour or more of sleep later today. The kids will be gone, the house will be quiet, what could be better?

There aren't many things that could, and that's a fact.
