Lord Jesus we thank you for the plans you have for your creation, and we praise you for you are the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. We ask Lord Jesus that you give 4ChristisLove's friend eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart to receive your Gospel truth. We ask these petitions based on the promises of your Holy Word, that they be done in the power of your Holy Spirit, in your good will and timing, and to the Glory of your Kingdom. In Jesus name ... amen. [sm=praying.gif] quote:
we are born into religion. Jn 1:12-13 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, (13) who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. Jn 6:63, 65 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is of no avail. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. ... (65) And he said, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father." (cf. Jn 6:44) Joh 8:33-47 They answered him, "We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, 'You will become free'?" (34) Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. (35) The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. (36) So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (37) I know that you are offspring of Abraham; yet you seek to kill me because my word finds no place in you. (38) I speak of what I have seen with my Father, and you do what you have heard from your father." (39) They answered him, "Abraham is our father." Jesus said to them, "If you were Abraham's children, you would be doing what Abraham did, (40) but now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. This is not what Abraham did. (41) You are doing what your father did." They said to him, "We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father--even God." (42) Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me. (43) Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. (44) You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (45) But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me. (46) Which one of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? (47) Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God." quote:
I'm going to continue doing what I believe is good and right Jdg 17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his eyes. Deu 12:8 You shall not do according to all that we do here today, each doing whatever is right in his own eyes. Num 15:39-40 And it shall be to you for a fringe, that you may look on it and remember all the commandments of Jehovah, and do them; and that you do not go about after your own heart and your own eyes after which you fornicate; (40) that you may remember and do all My commandments, and be holy to your God. quote:
I think on judgment day He will reveal the truth and then it will be up to me to decide whether to believe or not believe. Mat 24:48-51 But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My Lord delays His coming, (49) and shall begin to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken, (50) the Lord of that servant shall come in a day when he does not look for Him, and in an hour which he does not know. (51) And He shall cut him apart and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mat 25:41-46 Then He also shall say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels. (42) For I was hungry, and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me no drink; (43) I was a stranger and you did not take Me in; I was naked, and you did not clothe Me; I was sick, and in prison, and you did not visit me. (44) Then they will also answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to You? (45) Then He shall answer them, saying, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me. (46) And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into everlasting life. quote:
I can't believe that those who don't believe in God will not go to Heaven. Pro 18:2 A fool has no delight in understanding, but only that his heart may lay itself bare. Pro 28:26 He who trusts in his own heart is a fool; but whoever walks wisely, he shall be delivered. [sm=icon_smile_fish.gif]
