Homemade pizza. My portion (2-3 pieces) will have Canadian bacon (which is called Back Bacon here) and mushrooms; Kevin's portion (5-6 pieces) will have all meat - pepperoni, Italian sausage, etc.

HERE is a recipe for Chicken Capri that I pulled up on a web search.

Tonight we had KFC. Normally I can fit it into my meal plan for the day; today was bad - had a 3 piece chicken meal with fries. And the Diet Pepsi wasn't working, so I had regular. I had more calories in my meal for supper than some people eat all day!

Well I did not do much better today(arby's) but at least I exercised At least you are aware of what you are eating.

Our KFC is getting real bad with the service and the chicken pieces shrunk a lot.

Back on track tomorrow

A-yup.

2 lbs frozen petite/sweet peas
1 package bacon (ok, that's an estimate. What happens is I cook up a package and people smell it and after I beat them off with a stick I have some left, and I crumble that and put it in)
1 can water chestnuts, chopped finely
1 bunch green onions, sliced thinly
1/2-3/4 cup mayo (I use smart balance)
1/2-3/4 cup sour cream (light is good but not fat-free, and you want this to be the same amount as the mayo)
salt and pepper to taste

Mix the first four, mix the last four, then mix them together.

Yummy (Oriental) Buffet. That's the name of the place and the food really is (Well, the name is Yummy Buffet anyway. )

I helped my other dd and dsonil and dgd move from a one bedroom apartment on the second floor to a two bedroom on the first floor of the same building. I think we worked off and dietary disadvantages (hmmm, I didn't notice that before - a 1 bedroom on 2 to a 2 bedroom on 1 hmmm )

There's no one home but me tonight, so I just had a frozen Amy's Organic Cheese Enchilada with Corn and Black Beans. I love Amy's stuff!

The chicken Capri recipe sounds very Italian. I would guess that spaghetti would be an excellent side dish. I only mention that because reading the recipe made me hungry.

Tonight we had our Rosh Hashanah eve meal--lemon pepper baked fish, peas, saffron rice, cucumbers & grape tomatoes, round Challah, apples & honey, and of course, cheesecake for dessert.

Ham steak, mashed sweet potatoes, undetermined veggie, and the last jar of my sil's canned peaches from 2006. (I canned some this year so I don't need to hoard it any longer ) From the color of this meal I think I'd bettr go with a green veggie. Hmmm, wonder if there any good quality beet greens in the garden.

Tonight we had pasta bake--I mix penne & rotinia pasta with marinara meat sauce, top with cheese, cover, and bake. I made garlic bread from a loaf of bbq bread I bought at the thrift store this week--it makes excellent garlic bread.
