Tonight we are having a pork loin roast cooked with apples and mild onions. I just figured it sounded good. We are also having fresh corn on the cob and green beans. MMm Smells good now.

Little Caesars is having a special on their pick-up pizzas, medium pepperoni for $4. We're having that tonight.

I'm making veggie pizzas with all stuff from the garden---broccoli, tomato, and basil. I use pesto and sourcream for the pizza topping on one and hummus on the other. And then will add some kalamata olives. Possibly some parmesan, asiago or feta cheese.

I made Mexican cornbread--I add corn to the cornmeal batter, and add a layer of ground meat and lots of cheese in the middle. Sometimes I add jalapenos, too, depends on who's going to be eating.

We went out for dinner! It was my birthday dinner. We went to East Side Mario's, which is kinda a cross between an Applebee's/Chili's (atmosphere) and Olive Garden (food).

It was a family member's bday so I had steak, pasta salad, pea salad and garlic bread. Also available were watermelon, red velvet cake and ice cream. Red velvet cake gives me a stomachache and the ice cream was low fat so I did not partake. But dinner was still very good.
