Last night we had beef stroganoff. Not sure what we'll have tonight.

Ok forget the Pad Thai or even making dinner tonight. Hubby and I are having a movie date. So it's hot dog and popcorn for us.

Hot dogs? Somehow I don't see you as a hot dog eater. Guess I was wrong.
I love popcorn with brown rice syrup poured over the top. Mmm.

LOLOL!

I grew up on processed food. Hot dogs, spam, vienna sausage...Locally it's just popular here. I just am learning to eat much less of it. But Costco hot dog with drink is da bomb!

Ok so hubby was tired so we bought and ate at home. He had Panda's. I had Taco Bell.

On a bright note we have postponed our date for Saturday. So you already know what I will have.

I always feel guilty eating hot dogs, but we do every once in a while. Usually it's Hebrew National and I make my family eat them on whole wheat buns.

I consider myself to be fairly well informed about food, but some of the things you post are unknown to me. Can I come to your house for dinner? You can come to my house and I'll make my special recipe apple crisp for dessert with fresh whipped cream. It's almost good for you since I only use whole grains, rapadura and don't peel the apples. It's fabulous.

Hmmm...interesting. I've never thought not to peel the apples for apple crisp. I might make it more often if I didn't have to peel them first. LOL I think my apple crisp recipe is pretty healthy, even with regular brown sugar.

Dinner was a hodge-podge again. I hope to get back to making one real meal a day tomorrow. We've had meals from church since my surgery and I had some easy-peasy stuff to make.

Tomorrow I plan on making a white bean & spinach soup for lunch.

Sure. If you don't mind flying to Hawaii.

I don't think you want me to make some of that stuff I mentioned earlier. lol. Your homemade apple crisp sounds delish! My hubby will go crazy with that. Ha.

Tonight I plan to make miso butterfish with some green beans on the side.
