ColoradoLady36 -> The weirdest/most private thing you are willing to admit here (8/13/2008 5:19:20 PM)

Okay, I will start this one out...I have broken every toe, on both of my feet at some point in my life.

I broke three of ColoradoLady's toes.[sm=cooltilt.gif]

I WAS ENTERING A COURT HOUSE< AND STANDING IN LINE IN FRONT OF A CIRCUIT JUDGE THAT WE ARE FRIENDS WITH< AND I set off the metal detector with an article of clothing. Any further questions, and I plead the fifth.[sm=popsigh.gif]

Oh Kerrlaw, if only you had put that sledgehammer down. I remember it well. Wow you can sure pack a whollop on a poor woman's foot..lol.

I went flying down a big hill on my bike when I was about 14 at what felt like the speed of light and ran right into a massive oak tree at the bottom of the hill! [&:] Amazingly, I had no lasting injuries outside of some bruises and my pride! [:D]

Sorry to hear that crazed, glad there were no lasting injuries. As for the foot hammer thing, wow.
Anyway, Once I was driving up the road and this Jack Russell Terrier scampered accross the road, which was wayyyyy out in the country. I remember I slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting it, and got out, found the dog looked really malnourished, and I took him home. Ran a whole bunch of found ads in the paper, no response, had the dog for fifteen years after that.

me??? i have never done anything embarassing and silly (have you ever googled yourself? All these threads come up in the results).

So I repeat, I have never done anything weird (atleast that I'd admit to Googleing fly-bys...now to my good friends, that is another story).

^ Chicken! [:D] .. just kidding!

I have enough "events" to fill a book probably.

We were building a house several years ago and went by to check on the progress. The dirt had not yet been compacted and we had gotten a lot of rain. I stepped off the newly made curbing into the dirt (front yard) and proceeded to sink quickly. I honestly thought I might die. It was as if it was quick sand. I don't know what it was, but I began to sink down to the middle of my upper thighs! My husband tried to pull me out, but the more he pulled, the further I sank. I told him not to pull, just to give me his arm and I somehow managed to pull myself out of the "mud". It wasn't your "average mud"; let me tell you. Fortunately, my husband had a firm footing on the street by where I was. I was a "sight" to behold with mud everywhere.

If this didn't really happen; it would be unbelievable. [sm=icon_smile_yikes.gif]

I got stuck in a bathroom on an airplane once.

Oh, and the first time I ever cooked for my future husband, I sort of started a small grease fire in his mother's kitchen while frying sausage and they had to call the fire department.

I passed gas while shaking hands with the then governor.

Lol.>Bless your heart BlueStone, that must have been embarrassing. I have to ask, was it one of those 'silent and violent' ones, or one of the loud and proud' ones? Giggles.

After reading car2ner's post, I think that I'll just admit that Kittycat is a bit large and it's not all long fur.

I have probably been in the most accidents of anyone in this forum. Three while driving. Seventeen total.

car2ner -> RE: The weirdest/most private thing you are willing to admit here (8/15/2008 8:04:13 AM)

M'love is a security "nut". I think twice about everything I put on the internet. But I can admit this cause it is no secret.... I was an street performer for the Georgia Renaissance Festival for 4 years. One day it was raining and I was playing the part of a street artist. So I took shelter under a large picnic table umbrella and drew little pictures of umbrella saying "thou art wonderful" and passed them out to patrons as "complementary umbrellas"....they smiled and then held the drawings over their heads as they went on their way. Atleast it helped keep the rain out of their eyes.

I've totaled two brand new cars--neither was my fault, both were right at a month old, about 5 years apart.

One of my favorite things to do is stroll around a cemetery...old cemeteries remind me of historical facts...newer gravesites make me want to pray for the families.

Actually, I think that is an awesome idea. I have always wanted to visit some of the ancient cemetaries and do rubbings of some of the headstones. Kind of morbid yes, but what a wonderful opportunity to share in some of these people's legacies.

I ride around on a digital blue tiger for fun.
