MrsTracy72 -> RE: What do people think about Chinese medicine (8/14/2008 12:19:46 AM)

I think it has its place just like traditional Western medicine. They have done studies on accupuncture and have used it in surgeries instead of ansthesia. I think that as long as you know it is just medicine and not some god other than Christ working, then there should be no problem with it. I know that in massage, you can really get into alot of things that are not what we as Christians believe, but if you are going in for a massage for tension, or pain, or just to increase blood circulation and remember that it is not some sort of god or let them pray to a god that is not our God over you, then no problem. My massage therapist does do different types of therapy that I will not do because it does involve prayin and chanting. I just refuse that, but I won't stop going to her because she gives the best massages and that is all I am there for.
