It's all dangerous to try to 'verify'(prove)a point from a point in scripture because it limits our perspective. Chapters 7–10 is dealing with the Prediction of Local(at that time in history)and Far Events(after the church universal is removed). One of the few illusions to the church universal before Pentecost is the conquer of Jericho opening 'the land' to a victorious personal life experience. There is(will be)a 'point in time' when the church universal is removed however Isaiah 10 isn't speaking to that issue.
