ORIGINAL: Leslie_JnJs_mom I wonder if they will get enough evidence for the death penalty? That would be impossible without the body. I saw an episode of forensic files where they proved a man murdered his wife in cold blood with only a few bone chips. My mom thinks she dumped the body in a swamp where is was sure to be eaten. After hearing that there was a dead body in the car for enough time to smell bad , the chemical and the fact she tried to hide the car I have to wonder if she just wanted her party life back. Perhaps it was getting harder and harder to find sitters or get her to stay put at parties so she decided to just get rid of her. So so so sad. It makes me weep when I think of all the childless couples that would have adored such a beautiful little girl yet that little darling got Casey as a mother.

I honestly wonder if the grandmother wasn't in on it somehow. I think I heard that they lived with her and she was practically mom to the little girl. If that's the case, why it take HER a month to file a report too? --Kat

I think shes covering up for her daughter just way too much... ----------------------------------------------- Look at this guys... Can you believe this girl did this?!?!?! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26410773/ One of the lines out of that link is this Also Tuesday, WESH 2 spoke to a man who gave Casey Anthony a tattoo at the same time she claimed to be desperately searching for her missing daughter. Anthony had come to the tattoo shop a number of times with Caylee because a couple of her long-time school friends worked there, but the last few times, they said, Caylee was never with her. On July 2, more than two weeks after Caylee was last seen, and two weeks before Cindy Anthony reported the little girl missing, Bobby Lee Williams gave Casey Anthony a tattoo. Williams said he did not get a sense that Casey Anthony was looking for a child or worried. For a half hour, Williams told investigators he drew a design on Casey Anthony's shoulder that read, "bella vida" or "beautiful life." "She was saying something about a boyfriend up in New York, visiting his parents," Williams said. Why on Earth would she get a tatoo that read 'beautiful life' after her daughter went missing?!?!?!?! If thats not another piece of incriminating evidence...i dont know what is!!!

I too, think Casey's Mom has been covering for her. Cindy Anthony blasted Texas EquuSearch, the volunteer search-and-recovery team the family summoned to find the toddler. She complained that the group’s founder, Tim Miller, had suggested that Caylee might be dead, accused Cindy Anthony of not cooperating with the search and didn’t spend enough time with Caylee’s family. She maintained that Miller agreed to look for a living child, not a dead one. She should be thankful that there are people willing to givew of their time and energy to search for her granddaughter. There are more than 100 volunteers searching for Caylee.

From the article: quote:
Meanwhile, a Department of Children and Families spokeswoman confirmed Friday that the state agency has an open child-abuse investigation involving Anthony. I'm wondering if this was opened before or after she disappeared? --Kat

I know a woman who married, had 2 kids and abandoned the husband and children. She later married again and divorced. She stole another person's identity to use credit and drew 4 felony charges. She left the state. She married again, had 2 more children, and ran off with her first husband. When she ran off the second time, she burned up her youngest child "accidentally", feels no remorse, and married again while that child was having surgeries for the burns all without divorcing the last husband. She was indicted for forgery, identity theft, bigamy, etc. Her mother knows all of this, but she bailed her out in 2 different states. Her mother stated that she would not do anything to help her daughter out, but she still bailed her out. Seem familiar? People do not have accountability. Parents consistently bail their children out when something happens. Pathetic!

I know someone that has left her kids countless times to go off and do drugs and party and each time her mom and some other members of the family rallied behind her and put her in rehab and go her help. Now shes done it AGAIN and i just spoke to someone about it the other day and she said 'but she looks really good...' Yeah..okay. I just dont get at ALL why some people will look at the obvious and turn the other direction. I think if you love ur kids you help them go the RIGHT way - not see them go the wrong way and push them further into it!!! Thats not why God gave us children. At all.

Do I personally believe that she killed her daughter...Yes. Does the evidence provided thus far prove that she killed her daughter?...Based off of what I have seen and heard, no. I think this is why the police are taking their time. They got her hands down for conspiracy and negligence, but they are gathering all evidence possible so they can nail her for Capital murder.

Because if they try her now and dont get a conviction then they cant try her again. Double Jeopardy..... Posting cold, so I don't know if anyone else commented, but I think the scenario went something like this: The little girl's mother was in the habit of sedating her daughter with Chloroform (traces of which were found in the car) to get her out of the way so she could party unencumbered. She likely sedated her and left her in the car while she partied, but ultimately gave her a fatal overdose on the last occasion. When she discovered what she'd done, she panicked...left the body in the car until it began decomposing and then dumped it somewhere. This is such a pathetic case. That little girl didn't have a chance. That sounds likely. It would definately then make sense why the chloroform was there. No one needs chloroform just on a daily basis if not to cause harm. I was with you, though, in the beginning and believed that maybe she accidentally killed her. But the fact is IF she did do it on an accident then she wouldve taken the partial immunity, right? Ugh i dont know...this is such a tragic case. I think the only thing we know for SURE is that poor precious little angel is dead. Everytime Nancy Grace says 'where is 3 year old little Caylee...?" I always say 'in Heaven'. Thats where she is. And Casey and God are the only ones that know what happened. Im sure God will make sure this little girl is found and that Casey is brought to justice eventually.

Until the child's remains are found (assuming the child is indeed dead), the child is missing. What I'd like to know is if the mother is truly irresponsible enough to "lose" the child or if she has the child in hiding. Very little has been told of the child's father. Was he abusive to the point that the child's mother felt the need to conceal the little girl for her own safety? It wouldn't be the first time such a thing has been done to protect a child from an abusive relative. If this were to be the case, I would have a hard time condemning the mother.

How could she not report them as missing? Especially since she had no problem reporting the stolen car and other thefts. I listened to one of the 911 calls made by the grandmother of Caylee yesterday. The grandmother of Caylee was calling to report Casey for stealing her vehicle and some money. The grandmother was on hold waiting to be patched through to another police agency and you could overhear a brief conversation she was having with Casey. She said something about a child service to get a court order to let her see her, I imagine she was speaking of Caylee. Casey says something ineligible and the grandmother replies that she's "not giving you another day, it's been a month already". I think as far as I understand Casey was not in contact or did not see her mother for a month. Two hours after that initial call was when she called back to 911 to tell them her daughter just informed her her granddaughter had been missing for a month and that she had found her car but it smelled like a dead body. Casey maybe led her to the vehicle to avoid having her mother press charges for theft? I don't know. Anyway, I do not think the grandmother was in on the disappearance of Caylee. Listen to the 911 tapes.

^^I dont think the grandparents are in on it either. But i agree with Nancy Grace when she said something to the effect of 'the more they stay in denial the more they prolong this...' Which means that i think she thinks what alot of people do. That they hold the key in getting the truth out of Casey.
