This week marks the 40th anniversary of the Brumley Sing, and as J.D. used to say, I can't wait!
The four nights are packed with 30 groups and I was lucky to get tickets to the Friday matinee with the All in the Family with the Lewis Family, Jeff and Sherie, plus the Easter Bros. Anyone else going, they had about 7,000 in attendance last year each night.

I'm planning on being there with The Diplomats at the Saturday Matinee! I love getting to tag along with them from time to time.

Just got back from the Brumley Sing, and it was awsome. The building is great for such a large crowd. The town of Lebanon is so supportive of the fans, that is great. Even the restaurant servers had Brumley Gospel Sing buttons on. The Fri. matinee with Jeff and Sherrie, The Easter Bros. and The Lewis Family was outstanding.

Didn't get to go, after all. Duane Garren, the MC for the event was able to secure a last minute booking for The Dips and Aaron Wilburn at a local church. Today was the first day on the job for our new pastor at my church, and I couldn't miss that. (They were gonna drive on home late Saturday evening and get me home in the early hours of Sunday AM.) But, when this great opportunity came along, I knew I couldn't go. (THANKS, Duane! -- HaHaHA!)

Can't wait to hear how the weekend went. I'm sure the "Sho-Me" people LOVED them Diplomats as much as we 'peaches' do!

Just talked to Joe. He said they had a great time. The group was very well recieved and got good feedback. Jchaz, next time you talk to Corey ask him if he ever had a brain cramp!
