If you are going to go for V8, get the plain vegetable juice. It has 2 servings of vegetables in a cup. It may not taste as good as the fruit juice, but it is safer
I have never seen any juice say that it is the same as 2 servings of vegetables. I know the V8UK site says that 1 portion has 1 serving. With most juices, it doesn't matter how much you drink each day, it only contributes 1 serving.

Baked the rice bread this weekend. Completely different than what I expected and it was totally yummy!

My husband even liked it and he's not a big bread eater (the Philistine!)
That's great. I'm so glad you tried it and liked it ~ and that your husband liked it too

I recommend the 100% pure Organic Acai. There are a couple that I know of but I use the amazon thunder. The best price that I found from the amazon thunder list of retailers was: http://www.peaceful-planet.com

I heard that people seem to call it a 'super' food. But, I just read there is no such thing as super food. Basically, just eat healthy, and yes, get a good diet full of antioxidants, but I don't think the acai berry is better than any other fruit. I just say, don't get overwhelmed by this thing. People tend to make a bigger deal from the acai than it is.

Your sister in Christ Jesus,

yep, that's what I'm thinking

This is just my opinion but I think it is a fad. I believe it probably has a lot of great benefits to drinking it, but I don't think it is the cureall. My father in law sells the monavie stuff and I think that has acai in it. He swears by it. But he also swore by sugar busters, carrot juice, and apple cider vinegar among other things.

all of these things can be really good for you, but if you are putting that one good thing into your body and everything else counteracts that because you think that it is this "super food" that can undo everything you do to it in a day, then you aren't going to get a lot of the benefits from it.
I agree with JesKlu, just eat healthy, and if you want to add some into your life, it's not going to hurt you.

I actually rep for my company a juice blend of acai, mangosteen, blackberry, etc. that has a higher concentration of those who have only one at 1/6 of the cost. They're great drinks that taste good but without all the hype. Organic vitamins have the same benefits and they don't have to be extraordinarily expensive.Richardson Unlimited
