So remember this thread, where I wasn't sure what was going on?
Well things are definitely progressing between Luke and I. For the last few weeks I have been feeling really guilty about that conversation I had in the parking lot with him and it's been really bothering me. I was wondering if things would have been any different if I hadn't said the stuff that I did. I just felt in my heart that I needed to apologize to him.
So I did. I told him that I felt really bad about it, that it seemed I put him on the spot and said some things that weren't necessary. That I'd been through a lot and I took it out on the wrong person. And I gave him my sincere apologies. And since I have apologized to him, he has been very different. He has been a lot more flirty with me. He's been in a very giddy mood. He lights up when he sees me and he's been a lot different since. And I know that I have too, cause I have felt much better since I apologized to him. And things between me and him are definitely seeming to grow.
On Sunday, before I left work, I was so exhausted, tired, and sore cause I was running around not only seating my section, but basically the whole restaurant due to the newbie's mistakes. Luke was helping this woman with To Go, and she wanted some of our fresh grated cheese to take home. So Luke turned to me and was like, "Hey Breanne, can you go in the kitchen and grate some cheese in one of those little plastic cups?" So like, I was so exhausted...my knees hurt, and didn't feel like walking too much. But since he asked me, I was like, "Yeah sure." So I went in the kitchen grabbed a cheese grater and a plastic cup and started grating the cheese. Which by the way, I have never used one of those before so it was really awkward, I didn't know what I was doing and I was making a mess. I eventually filled up the cup. I put a lid on the cup and brought it out. Luke told me the lady was right behind me. And as I turned around to give her the cheese, Luke says to me, "Thanks babe." <333 OMGOSH! HE CALLED ME BABE!!! That totally made my night. I didn't care how much pain my knees were in, Luke called me 'babe'. I am so happy!!! <3
I can just see the difference in the way he looks at me from the other girls at work. He looks at me so different. Not in a buddy buddy way, but more like...... it's hard to describe. But I can see it in his eyes, it's definitely different. I definitely feel like him and I have grown closer. I've been trying to play things patiently, but yet still trying to show him that I'm interested. I've been acting a little flirty around him, and he's been doing the same.
I always hear him talking about going bike riding. So I was talking to him about that. And I told him that there are these trails near where I live that I always see people there. And I've always wanted to check it out. I told him when I move next week, I'm getting my bike from my mom's garage and I invited him to come and check out the trails with me. And he was like, "Yeah okay, that'd be cool."
I told my mom about that, and she's like, "You just asked him out!" But like, I wasn't intending it that way. I just figured since he's into biking and I'd like to also go and check out these trails, that it would be fun. And she's like, "But still, you just asked him out." LOL!!!! Wow, did I really? Hey, he said yes!! [:D] So I'm gonna let him know when I get my bike and set it up with him. EEEEKKK!
