My grandson ask me last night if I knew how to make chicken eggrolls. I don't but wondered if someone here could tell me how? Thank you for any & all help.

Ruth, I just got rid of my Asian cookbook because the eggrolls were the only recipe I would try, but never had time. Google has this thing that if you type in google cookbook I think, it will take you to all kinds of choices. If you choose an Asian type of cooking, most of the recipes will be authentic. I found so many of Italian recipes that my grandma used to use so I would expect you might find the same with Asian cooking.

Oooh, my mom makes the yummiest homemade eggrolls. It's a fairly labor-intensive project, though, kinda like making tamales, so she usually did it in assembly-line fashion with a friend or two.

My Mom makes the best eggrolls (IMHO) but she's been making them since we were young. She makes tons of them and freeze them and they are quite a work especially if I have to do them with my Mom [:D] My Mom likes it rolled a certain way and it has to be the same length so now I just buy the frozen ones in our Asian store [:D]
Going back to the OP -- make sure you get your wraps from an Asian store because the ones that they sell in most stores are too thick.

I didn't know there were chicken rolls...

I was in a movie theatre once and a friend asked me if I wanted an eggroll. And I was like sure, I like eggs...and when I got them...they didn't have eggs in them...some other nasty stuff...

So hopefully chicken rolls actually have chicken in them?
