...I READ THIS!

source link

"A mechanic at the Baton Rouge Metro Airport accidentally pressed a starter switch on a commuter airplane she was cleaning, which immediately sent the craft into full-fledged take-off mode -- right into two other planes inside the same hangar.

All three planes were destroyed, ultimately causing $100,000,000 in damages, not to mention nearly killing herself and 14 other workers"

I found it hard to believe and did a search on it and looks like it is legit.

We have all made some pretty bad mistakes... maybe not like this but some serious enough to radically change the course of our lives.

I imagine there have been many mistakes that have led to salvation.

Are you one of the few that a serious mistake turned out to be maybe the best thing that could have happened to you or someone else?

Do you believe that many of your mistakes may have been part of God's plan to bring you to your knees and point you to the cross?

When I was young and single, there were several guys I thought were good husband material. One guy especially. We talked and dated and finally discussed children and how I would finish putting him through school. Then he dumped me.

I was a morass of agony. I'd given away my heart and had it handed back to me in pieces. I had to do a lot of thinking.

1. It wasn't a guy that was going to make me happy, but being obedient to Christ.

2. I needed to follow the Bible and not just my own selfish, immature desires ("I need a man - I guess that one will do").

3. God has a good plan and I need to just trust Him and get on with my day. Good husband material showed up a few years later and I wasn't stuck in a bad marriage but actually available. We just celebrated 20 years of marriage!

4. I recently heard about the faithless boyfriend... his spiritual life and marriage are in shambles. I dodged a bullet, by God's grace.

My son had moved his family to California and they were refugees in the makeshift camps during the fires there last year. I just wanted them back up here.

They moved back, and the night they came in, the family and lots of his friends went over to their house to help unpack. I wasn't feeling great, but I wanted to see my son and his family. By the time I got there and helped a little, I realized I was very sick. I spent the weekend and a couple days more in bed.

Whatever I had, I gave it to my daughter. I was horrified. How selfish of me that I went over there, knowing I felt kind of bad, then stayed awhile after I realized I was sick! And how many more were going to be sick because of me.

My daughter called me. "Mom, did you have any odd, real bad pain in your stomach or side?" "No." "Well, I'm really hurting." "On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad?" "About a 7." I didn't know what to think.

I got better, but her pain got worse. She went to a doctor. It was cancer. Her doctor told her that if the sickness had not settled in her as it did, they would not have found the fast-growing cancer until it could have been too late. The illness made it hurt.

Months later, my precious daughter is still beautiful with her little bald head.
