Covaan_Meshuga -> Another Avater question (7/22/2008 12:03:40 AM)

Does anyone have any idea why I, and some others, can't see my Avatar, while others see it?

Thank you!

Kath -> RE: Another Avater question (7/22/2008 12:08:19 AM)

That's weird, I can't see it.

Did you remember to do the apply or ok when you uploaded it successfully? So many times that is problem.

Covaan_Meshuga -> RE: Another Avater question (7/22/2008 12:20:31 AM)

Mine didn't give "apply." I just went back in and checked, when I read about "apply" on another thread.

Kath -> RE: Another Avater question (7/22/2008 12:49:23 AM)

It's at the bottom of the page. I think both apply and ok are there.

Jenny-Fair -> RE: Another Avater question (7/22/2008 12:56:22 AM)

I can see your avatar. But you do have to click apply after you upload it...going back later won't do you any good, so you will have to start over.

Oh! Now, I get it!

I'm very slow.

But there I am!!!

THANK YOU!!!

[:D] Got milk?

Covaan_Meshuga -> RE: Another Avater question (7/22/2008 6:30:26 PM)

[:D] Not anymore! Just days after that photo, I learned I was allergic and had to cut out all milk products.

Got soy milk? Rice milk? Almond milk? ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
I have even learned to make my ice cream, sherbet, and sorbet one serving at a time from those milks. Oh, brother!

Ps103 -> RE: Another Avater question (7/25/2008 10:49:40 AM)

Yeah, I can't do milk, either (unless I break down and make Thai coffee suffer for it--it is so good!)

But the avatar is cute[:)]I like it!

Covaan_Meshuga -> RE: Another Avater question (7/25/2008 12:32:55 PM)

[:D][:D] Thank you! I tried to doctor up my milk moustache for the Avatar, but I made it look bad, so I had to take what I had done off. I did it using mayonnaise, because the milk wouldn't show up in the photo.

Have you tried your coffee using soy, rice, or almond milk? I find that a barely miss milk when I get a coffee or tea. The main problem I have at coffee shops is that they always buy sweetened soy milk, and I should not have sugar either.

I make soft-serve "ice cream" and sherbet using the soy, rice, or almond milk. The almond milk adds a little almond flavor to the ice cream. I also have found that I like dry soy milk, and I add quite a bit of it to my "ice cream." These are sugarless. I have my husband taste them, and he always says they are good, so it's not just my opinion.

I make a great lime sorbet, too, without sugar.
