The statement hardly typifies most Christian men that I know. As I walk through the halls at church, I mostly see very confident, outgoing, hardworking men. Yes, I know a few who are lazy and some who neglect their responsibilities as the spiritual leader of the home, but they seem to be fewer in number.

My thoughts, exactly!

I know some lazy people.
I also know some insecure people.

Some of them are Christian men. Some of them are Christian women. Some of these lazy and/or insecure people (regardless of gender) practice other religions (or no religion).

Gosh, there are over a billion christians in the world, I don't know as I've met enough Christian men to make sweeping generalizations about even .... a hundred thousand or so.

I know ONE christian man well -- my wonderful DH. He is neither lazy nor insecure.

I did not vote. Why? because it's a stereotype...I believe. I mean, I don't know if most Christian men are lazy and insecure. It's just a dumb stereotype and I think it's unfair to Christian men. Don't you think Christian women are the same. I feel like I am the ugliest thing on the planet. I'm not lazy, but I am VERY insecure. I'm not fishing for compliments, I'm just saying that "most" men aren't like that. I think it's just a stereotype, which I hate!

Not all men were built the same and Christian men are no exception!
