Dh and J had fish and chips, X and I had meat pies and chips. We'd had the beef strog for lunch and I figured one big meal was enough for the day.

I've just pulled some chicken out of the freezer. I'll have to see what comes to mind during the day.

I browned some ground beef, then added onion, red bell pepper, mushrooms, zucchini and yellow squash; basically what I had left in the fridge that needed to be cooked up. I cooked some whole wheat elbow maccaroni, then put it in a casserole dish. I added a can of tomato sauce and put the meat and vegetable mixture over the maccaroni, then baked it for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Everyone liked it and we will have left overs for lunch tomorrow.

Kylie, That is an interesting meal. Did you eat at home? We had roasted chicken (from Costco), green salad and corn on the cob.
