The guys I spoke to at Circuit City said that you need 1 gig just to run the Vista OS. He said you only have what's left over to run everything else. That's a chunk of memory for just the OS.
Anybody else heard that?

Never heard of Bi-lo but there is a Kroger store about 25 miles from us. I will have to check it out the next time we are in that area. But that doesn't help me out tonight!! I guess I will just have to suffer! Please feel sorry for me!! Thank you!

Just here for a minute. I pray that everyone has a good nights sleep.
Janis MissGizmo did have an emergency vet visit. She needs to stop jumping because she is getting bad knees. Not bed enough for surgery but they will get bad enough if she keeps jumping on everything. She did get some doggie ALIVE & 3 shots. It was time for her yearly visit next week so they gave them to her while she was there so we do not have to go back.

Yes. If it's not precisely 1 gig, it's close enough that it would be functionally equivalent.

I say good morning with half open eyes. I'm not a morning person but had to get up and around this morning because a repairman is coming between 8 and noon. Got a 4 hour window there. Why, oh, why couldn't he say closer to noon???? And I don't drink coffee so I don't have anything to make me less grumpy in the mornings. I know what to do:
"This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!" All right!! Now I feel better!!!
