Sharon-Marie, since you have now learned that groups of toys sell better than individual, and you said you are photographing more toys, are you going to be selling them in groups now? Seems like it would cause this whole chapter in your life to end sooner than later, which is a good thing.

Well, Kath . . . yes, no and kinda.

I'm only going to be uploading toy auctions for one more week, and I've already decided which ones I'll be using for that. Most of those are larger type items and really should be sold by themselves.

Depending on how quickly I get all those uploaded, if I have time left near the end of this week, I might decide to list a few more figurine-type toys; and if I do, those will be sold as lots.

Beginning next week, I'll be auctioning some non-toy stuff; and that will be a 3 week project. Then, a couple more weeks after that to tie up all the loose ends, receive payments and ship those babies out . . . one way or another, by the end of October, this project will be completed.

And you're very right - that will be a good thing.

Oh sure, Tina. NOW you think of it. LOL

Oh fiddle.

I forgot about Mickey Mouse and Looney Tunes.

They are going to be upload this week . . . and most of those are small figurines. So I'll probably be selling those in lots.

And now, I bid y'all adieu.

Be blessed and happy playing.

I'll try harder next time? But let me know if you have any cheesecake toys. Those would sell like hotcakes around here. Even though it's cheesecake and not hotcakes....

I don't do Ebay, or I would definitely have considered the Yoda toothbrush since my son is Yoda to all his friends including his wife.

I take thee Yoda to be...

I think you've been doing remarkably well on eBay, Shar-Mar. Your listings are comprehensive, and you provide excellent customer service. You're already in the top percentile of eBay sellers in my opinion :) And I've done a LOT of buying on eBay and have seen all types of sellers.

Oooh, be sure to let us know when the Looney Tunes stuff goes up.

Don't be surprised what some collector's will pay. I have limited edition plates that I paid $20 for that are theoretically worth anywhere from $100 to $500. the hard part for me is parting with them.

Thank you, this is for my husband he loves toys and has a toy room like your husband had.

One of the very pleasant surprises that I have received from selling CS's toys on eBay are the private messages that buyers send me.

Not all buyers, but still, a few, have sent me notes telling me why they have purchased my toys.

They always brings smiles to my face; it's nice to know that CS's toys are going to good homes.

I received the above quote yesterday within a note from a recent buyer. I cannot begin to tell y'all what this meant to me, but I'm sure those of y'all who know the story can well imagine.

Thank you, Lord, for the sweet encouragement.

But, but, but, Christine . . . what else am I supposed to be spending this money on?

It amazes me what people will pay for things. It always has, but even more so now.

I've since stopped trying to figure out if something will sell or not. The Star Wars collection has, so far, garnered the most attention. I was answering questions left and right with those things. I think I also garnered the most bidders from them as well.

Then, there were things that didn't even get bids which also surprised me (at the moment, I don't remember which toys, though . . . oh, Garfield; many of the Garfield items didn't receive any bids).

And oddly enough, neither did my Snow White plate. I guess I need to change my avatar now. LOL

We got it yesterday. It took Russ three or four minutes to get it solved, but that was because he wasn't used to the color positions (it isn't a "Rubiks" cube but another brand so the colors line up differently), and it is still a bit stiff from being on the new side. It won't be long before he up to normal speed though.

It is funny to watch the kids messing it up trying to get it harder to solve it.

Aacck! I didn't realize it wasn't a Rubik's cube. I didn't know there were other brands of that thing.

I hope y'all are having lots of fun with it.
