I get that way sometimes too. Then I also tend to have times where I can't sleep at all.

Abiyah, I have no answers regarding your sleep pattern, but I can be like that too. I blame my thyroid for it and just am learning to live with it.

Same here.

I will have a series of days when I get up in the morning, do a few chores, then am back in bed by 10am for another two hours (I have to, my head feels like lead). Or else I crash mid-afternoon for an hour or so.

Other times I am wideawake, alert and active and can go all day without even a 10 minute nap.

I blame it on my thyroid too, especially as my hypothyroidism is due to an auto-immune disorder. I figure that if I am making antibodies against my own thyroid in varying amounts, sometimes it's just going to wipe me out.

So apparently, this may be common. And when I think about the ads on TV for this and that med for such things, yeah. It was weird to sleep that long and still wake up tired, but while i am tired today, not that tired.

I can sleep for 12 hours, get up and feed Munch and go back to bed for another 4-5 hours. I've even not woken up when Munchie is due breakfast and have no idea whether she's given up 'calling me' or is just a real good kitty.

I do try and keep a regular schedule though ~ doesn't always work. It's a bit out at the moment, but that's pretty much due to factors going on in my life, and I can make allowances for those.
