I know that many believe that one antichrist will be a man who come in the Third Temple but, the Apostle Paul talk about "the son of perdition".

2 Thessalonicians 2:3
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God


And we know that "the son of perdition" is satan himself

John 17:12
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

Jesus talk about the son of perdition when He speaks about Judas Iscariot but the Aposte Paul doesn't talk Judas when he speaks about the son of perdition, and we know that satan entered into Judas Iscariot. So, it means that the son of perdition is satan himself.

Luke 22:3
Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot...

Jesus speaks also about the abomination of desolaton

Matthew 24:15
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place...

I think that the mosque al aqsar is this abomination of desolation stand in the Holy Place.
Like the Apostle Paul says it :

the god of islam shewing himself that he is God.
With this mosque, satan, the son of perdition is in the Holy Place now.

I believe also that the Assyrien is the antichrist mentionned in the Bible :

Isaiah 10:5
O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.

And we know that Assyria is formed by 4 countries who are now islamics :
Syria, Turkey, Iran and Irak.

I share with you, what do you think ?

I do agree with you that the "Son of Perdition" is Satan himself, but I as many others believe that the abomination is yet to be fulfilled. I believe that this will be a human antichrist who (as Judas was) will be indwelt by Satan himself and will enter a rebuilt temple and set himself there as the god of mankind.

My belief calls for a singular world leader and a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. Two things that not too long ago would have been thought completly impossible.

My thinking in the past has been that the Dome of the Rock has been placed on the temple mount as a way of preventing the temple from being rebuilt until the timing is right. I'm beginning to believe thought that the next temple may be moved off of the temple mount as a compromise to allow it to be rebuilt now.

There is one only Holy Place where the Temple was and must be rebuilt.

2 Chronicles 3:1
Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

And we know that the Mount Moriah is the same place where this mosque is.
Jesus call the Mount Moriah where was the Temple "The Holy Place".

Rev 11:1 And a reed like a staff was given to me, and the angel stood, saying, Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar, and those worshiping in it.
:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and do not measure it. For it was given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city forty two months.

Note: When they rebuild the new temple, they will leave out the outer court and I believe they will rebuild the dome right next to it when there is a "false peace".
This explains the “giving it to the nations”.
The foundations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock which are on the Temple Mount at this moment are old and unstable, part of the structure is unsound and may collapse. When this happens, it will give way for the rebuilding of the new Temple.

muslims in Jerusalem pray on the Temple Mount their back toward the Holy Place where was the Temple of The Lord. They pray their faces toward the east, toward the mekka.

This is obvious to me --being an ex catholic (RCC). The woman is the harlot church which masquerades as the True Church , The Bride. The Roman Catholic Churches colors have been scarlet & purple. She is holding a cup or chalice which is symbolic of the harlot being drunk with the blood of The Martyrs of Jesus. The RCC (Roman Catholic Church) has been notorious for this throughout its long bloody history. Often the True church has been lumped in together with the RCC. Hello asuzette,

I watched, The Catholic Inquisition, I'm saddened by the whole thing...

Richard Bennett the former priest teaches the true Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ with such thanksgiving now.

I never really knew about the Catholic Inquisition, I'm in shock!!!
This has changed my view of the popes purpose.

I have often wondered how many souls down through the ages have died without knowing Christ because of a teaching that keeps them from Christ, while at the same time pretends to bring them to God. The number must be staggering.

I really think all the conspiracy theorists trying to point to Islam as the source for the anti-Christ are really barking up the wrong tree.

The final kingdom from Daniel 2 is Roman; that's just a fact of end-time prophecy.

Look at a globe, what are the great powers today?
America, the EU, Russia, and China.

- Three of the four are "western" or "Romanesque."
- Those three encircle the northern half of the Northern Hemisphere.
- The fourth beast of Daniel 7 is made up of the previous three in Revelation 13:2.
- The ten Kings do not come with kingdoms to form the fourth terrible beast - BUT - become as Kings once it is formed. Ten presiding ministers like the twelve over the EU fit the bill on how these ten could come about once the fourth terrible beast is formed.

If you want to know how Islam fits in ask yourself who the King of the South is.

I think Rome versus Islam is the basis for the final conflict of North versus South which has already started and will go on until the final battle.

The South started this war by attacking the North, which Islam has with America, the EU and Russia.

Furthermore, Islam is currently being aided by China as she looks in opposition to weaken the "West."

Put together, you have all the major players in Geo-politics today.
