Oh man!!! I bet that would be scary...

the allergy isn't what is funny...it is the way a grown woman would try to force feed another grown woman a peanut...

There is no such thing as a transgendered person. There are sexually mutilated woman (like this person was) and sexually mutilated men who sometimes look like woman. At the most basic level this person has an XX chromosome pair. That means she's a woman. If they have an Xy they are a mna. reardless of what the external packaging has been configured to resemble.

The way you put this made me laugh.

I would LOVE for it to rain here! I can't remember the last time it did...no, lemme think, I was working at my last job and it was a major problem because I worked in hay export and it rained during harvest. So I guess it was 5 weeks ago.

Anyway, some rain tomorrow would be fantastic.

Sometimes like we have to wait for the rain...we have to wait for Jesus, but when it comes...when He comes...it is always worth the wait...

It just drizzled today...sometimes you get drizzle when you want a storm...

Hey! Why can't I say that Texas isn't part of the south but the Floridians can? It's an injustice, I tell ya.

I'll let you say that. Texas was never part of the traditional South, as far as I know.

Speaking of "Hello, Dolly"...

I was so jealous to hear about that hitting around Texas and I was hoping it would make its way to North Carolina...

No chance for it yet...

I didn't know. I just remembered it had "upon us" in it, so I added it, being at we were talking about the biggest state in the lower 48.

TX ISN'T part of the south - it's a mix of EVERYTHING - just depends on what part of TX you're talking about.

There, feel better??????

(sorry I had to go to sleep and miss all the fun - we could have run with this line of thinking - for a while! LOLOLOL)

Oh, not to worry - you've got several months of waiting for hurricanes before the season winds down for the year.

BTW - I'm the resident meteorologist around here, and I specialize in hurricanes.

True, but it is life-giving, so I'll take it - all the time.

Yesterday morning was glorious - we had a big "blob" of steady rain over us for about 3-4 hours. It was AWESOME!!! Normally, we get thunderstorms during the summer. Yesterday, it was dark and dreary and calm but with rain. It was the type of rain you CAN go out in - it WAS the romantic rain. It WAS the kind you can sing in and dance in and most definitely curl up and sleep.

That was rare yesterday - and it was amazing!!!!!

Friday means nothing to me right now - other than I can dress a bit more casually than normal. I am working over 60 hrs/week at the moment. I haven't had a day off in 3 weeks. Then, tomorrow, I have CPR/First Aid training, then church then more work, and working about 12 hours on Sunday.

Nope, Friday means nothing right now. I'm on the project that never ends. One job opening had 874 applications! I have to go through each one of them for what I am doing right now.

For those who DO get a weekend, enjoy it!

Happy Friday everyone...well except to Lisa. Poor thing!

I'm definitely looking forward to the weekend!

Tonight is housecleaning night, which desperately needs to be done.

We're not recording this weekend as half of the group is in NC for a birthday party.

But, Mom and I are going to help out our cousin do some stuff tomorrow morning. Then Mom and I are going to a baseball game tomorrow night. One of the few things we actually have in common!

Sunday, of course, is church and a nice day of rest.

Recording will resume next weekend.

Sorry you don't get a day off, Lisa! I believe in self-care... you might just need to schedule a Lisa-only day.

As for me, I have plans this evening and tomorrow, I have the whole day to work on school work, and I plan to go to the park in the morning for a change of scenery. After that, it's a normal weekend.

SSS -- I enjoy housecleaning days, too. I feel so relaxed when the house starts looking nice. I just got a magazine last night called Southern Lady... it has some really pretty decorating ideas and some elegant entertaining ideas.
