Morning, folks;
Just dropping in to say that my 'puter's broken and has to go to the 'puter Dr. today. I have another computer, but since there will only be one in the family, I might not have access to it as much...so I won't be on as much.
I do have the other computer and the stupidphone, though, so I won't be completely ignorant of what's going on when the thing does get fixed and I am back.

Good morning all. I hope everyone is doing well. Hopefully it'll stay sunny all day and we can avoid the rain (and tornadoes) today! I'm going to see if there's any tickets available for the baseball game tonight. David Ortiz is playing for Portland this week so it would be cool to see him play here.

I have a question and I was wondering if anyone knew the answer. My city has a main library and like 5 or 6 branch libraries. If I want something from another branch, can I get it shipped to the branch closest to me or do they not do that kind of thing?

Barry, yeah they should be able to do that -- they're called inter-library loans. I don't know how it works as I'm sure it's different from library to library. We had that system set up at school where we could not only get books from another campus, but from other local schools as well.
Check w/ your library to see what the policies are.

They usually do that, and probably even from libraries in the same county, and possibly even other libraries in the same state, and if it's large enough, they may even get you books from other parts of the country.
