Ok, I will be honest here, I have a thing for taller women. I am 5'8" which means that a woman would be 5'9" or taller, however I think that most women want a man that is taller than them instead.

So I ask the question, will you date someone who is shorter than you? As usual inquiring minds want to know! [:D]

Nope. I'm pretty short (5'0) and I've never dated anyone under 5'9. I've been attracted to taller men from day one and prefer men who are at least 6 ft tall. I'm just not attracted to short men or skinny men.

Besides, I've never met any man that's shorter than me, lol.

Yep, I'm engaged to a guy shorter than me right now and have dated shorter guys in the past.
Of course, I'm 5'11" so finding a taller guy can be a tiny bit of a challenge sometimes. [:D]

Well I'm short 4'11 so the question doesn't count for me, but I would date a short guy as long as he didn't have an attitude about it.

I used to date a man that was a tad shorter. My DF is the same height as me.

Seriously...I haven't met very many men who are shorter than me. I guess it wouldn't matter.

I would like to think I would but at 5 feet 2 inches ( actually 5 feet 1 and 3/4 inches) I would like a man taller than me.

I'm not sure that I've ever dated anyone shorter than me. I definitely prefer a taller man.

I'm 5' 8", and I've dated guys shorter than me. It never bothered me at all.


This thread reminds me of my BIL and SIL (hubby's brother and the brother's wife). He's as tall as I am...she's probably 5'11"ish. She loves to wear high heels.[:D] She's secure enough in herself and her relationship with him to do it and he thinks she looks hot in them. It's really cute![:)]

I haven't done any dating yet. I'm still a little young. [;)] But I will definitely want him to be taller than me.

I prefer tall men but if the man that I fall in love with is short then I would have to deal with it.

Well, I would definitely want him to be taller than me. I am 5' 2" so a man shorter than that would NOT be my preference!

Probably not, at least, I don't prefer shorter men.
