Yes, as Christians we are called to be 'set apart', but that doesn't mean we can't choose to sit in reality.

To play off this,
Yes, as Christians we are called to be set apart....could you sit wayyy over there please?

So what you're saying is that "I'd like your thoughts" and "I'd like you to tell me your thoughts" are two entirely different things. Right?

That's an interesting critique of an event that happened 40 years ago - 20 before you were even born - and one that I remember quite well. It's almost like hearing someone describe my mother as having 4 wheels for legs, 6 wings for arms, and a Soft-Serve-Ice Cream dispenser in her right ear.

Since you two can't seem to keep your hands off each other that topic, you might want to get a room Thread, since that is not the topic of the OP.

So, how's it working for you?

(sorry Dr. Phil, but sometimes this line just works so well).

Here is one I actually used today in response to a very long list of verses:

Wow, I actually agree with everything in your post until you get to the last paragraph..

(to which I did not add, "why'd ya have to go and ruin it?")

I know you think pulling the Scripture out about not being like the world is proof of your argument, but I don't think the argument is over being like the world but rather what being like the world looks like.

But then again, I could be wrong.

Sorry, I don't load my gun with scripture and shoot down fellow believers.

Thanks for letting me know what my needs are.

>>not snarky<< HUZZAH. that is the exact sentiment I needed for a reply to one of my posts today. For some reason, instead of debating the issue it has become a personal attack, with plenty of it's-for-your-own-good added for flavor.

While it takes many paragraphs to get your idea across, I can get under your skin with three simple sentences.

(Does that mean I win? Ooops, better not say that with my outside voice.)

Sorry, did not mean to shoot down your entire way of life. I will leave that for the psychiatrists.
